A West Aussie became an instant millionaire after cashing in their $1.69 million lotto ticket from the Saturday draw. The lucky winner was one of four players to match the numbers for a division one prize, having bought their ticket through Lotterywest Play Online, while the other winners came from Queensland and Victoria. The life-changing numbers were 13, 6, 14, 19, 4 and 17, while the supplementary's were 11 and 1. Another 14 players out west finished their week with a nice collect, pocketing $5700 from a division two win. Lotterywest spokeperson Zoe Wender said that it was a successful weekend for players out west. 'In addition to Saturday's win, a WA player also won Division Two in Sunday's Set for Life draw,' she said. 'Shoalwater News and Lotto sold the Set for Life Division Two winning ticket, and the player will pocket $5000 a month for the next 12 months.' West Aussies have been living large with lotto wins, with a Perth man collecting his $1.6 million prize from a division one win in the Saturday Lotto draw on June 28, 2025. He bought the winning slip from The Lucky Charm in Morley while waiting to collect a birthday cake for a family member, and he has already planned to use the winnings to buy a home and visit family overseas. Punters that want to win big are being encouraged to pick up a ticket for Saturday Lotto's $30 million Megadraw on July 26.

Saturday Lotto: Pair of West Aussie's to receive ‘life-changing' call after $1 million win
A pair of West Aussie's will receive a 'life-changing' phone call today after purchasing Division One tickets for the Saturday lotto that are now worth $1.69 million each. The tickets were purchased through Lotterywest Play Online, with the winning numbers 31, 40, 44, 37, 9 and 19. Lotterywest spokesperson Zoe Wender said that the lucky winners will be receiving a special call today. 'This could be a life-changing phone call that people dream of, I hope they're sitting down!,' she said. Western Australia also had 12 Division Two winners, with each win coming out to more than $14,000. For the punters who didn't receive the call, the Division One prize pool is expected to be $6 million for Saturday Lotto from May 24 onwards.
