Rajasthan Horror: Man 'Sacrifices' 5-Year-Old Nephew In Bizarre Bid To 'Control' Estranged Wife

Last Updated: Manoj Prajapat went to a tantrik to bring back his wife, who had fought with him and left his house. The tantrik told him to sacrifice his nephew and bring his blood. In a horrifying incident from Rajasthan, a man sought the advice of a 'tantrik" and allegedly decided to sacrifice his five-year-old nephew to 'control" and bring back his estranged wife, who left him and went to live with her parents. The man, identified as Manoj Prajapat from Sarai Kalan village, was reportedly advised by a tantrik to 'sacrifice his nephew, bring his blood and Rs 12,000 for a ritual at midnight on Saturday (June 19). Mahaveer Singh, SHO of Mundawar police station in Rajasthan's Khairthal-Tijara district, said the tantrik, 38-year-old Sunil, told a desperate Prajapat that Goddess Kali demanded a sacrifice to bring back his estranged wife. 'Tu tere bhatije ki bali de (Sacrifice your nephew)," police quoted Sunil telling Prajapat as reported by The Indian Express. Prajapat then planned to abduct and kill the five-year-old son – identified as Lokesh – of his wife's sister to complete the ritual. His wife left for her parents' home after repeated quarrels between them, where she opposed his addiction to intoxication, among other things, according to SHO Singh. Lokesh was found dead and hidden in a haystack inside the abandoned house. Manoj allegedly took Lokesh to a dilapidated building on the pretext of buying him toffees. Police said Prajapat extracted the child's blood through injections, as per Sunil's demands, and wanted to control and bring back his estranged wife through the ritual. Initially, Manoj allegedly tried to mislead the police by staying at the crime scene and pretending to be concerned. However, the cops grew suspicious of Prajapat as he was the last person seen with the child and was also allegedly attempting to mislead the investigation. After interrogation, Prajapat confessed to the police about his actions and his motive behind the gruesome murder, and was promptly arrested on Monday. Sunil was arrested the next day. 'It is a heinous case. Their mind gets possessed while doing such acts," SHO Singh told The Indian Express. view comments First Published: Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's. To ‘control' and bring back estranged wife, Rajasthan man ‘sacrifices' 6-yr-old nephew

AFTER HIS wife left him and went to live with her parents, Manoj Prajapat of Sarai Kalan village near the Rajasthan-Haryana border took the advice of a 'tantric' and allegedly decided to sacrifice a child as a means to 'control' her and bring her back, police said. This, they said, led to the killing of Prajapat's six-year-old nephew. Mahaveer Singh, SHO of Mundawar police station in Rajasthan's Khairtal-Tijara district, said the 'tantric', 38-year-old Sunil, told Prajapat to 'sacrifice his nephew, bring his blood, heart, and Rs 12,000 for the ritual at midnight on Saturday'. According to the SHO, Sunil told Prajapat that Goddess Kali demands a sacrifice. 'Tu tere bhatije ki bali de (Sacrifice your nephew),' the tantric allegedly told him, police said. SHO Singh said that Prajapat's wife left for her parents' home after the couple quarrelled and that she was upset over his addiction to intoxicants, among other things. Prajapat then allegedly planned to abduct and kill the six-year-old son of his wife's sister. On the day of the ritual, July 19, he allegedly strangled the child to death, police said. The child's family, panicked after he remained missing, informed the local police. Following an intensive search, police found the body in a pile of fodder in an abandoned house near the child's home. 'Prajapat wanted to control and bring her (his wife) back home through the ritual,' the SHO said. The police also discovered that Prajapat had extracted blood from the child through injections, as per Sunil's demand. Police said they suspected Prajapat as he was the last to be seen with the child and was also allegedly trying to mislead investigators. They said the case was cracked after they questioned him and he told them the reason for his actions. Prajapat was arrested on Monday and Sunil on Tuesday. 'It is a heinous case. Their mind gets possessed while doing such acts,' the SHO said.

Man sets self on fire over fin row in Jaisalmer, suffers 50% burns

1 2 Jaisalmer: A 20-year-old man from Jodhpur, Prakash Mali, suffered 50% burns late Tuesday night after allegedly setting himself on fire over a financial dispute in Achalvanshi Colony, Jaisalmer . Initially admitted to Jawahir Hospital, Mali was later referred to Jodhpur for advanced treatment. Chandraprakash, who tried to save Mali, sustained burns to his hands during the rescue. According to police, the incident stemmed from a monetary dispute with Hitesh Prajapat, 28, a Flipkart manager. Mali alleged that Prajapat seized his mobile phone after he failed to repay borrowed money. Despite lodging a police complaint, Mali was allegedly asked to return during the day. When he failed to recover the phone, he doused himself in petrol and set himself on fire. Chandraprakash, Prajapat's brother, said, Mali arrived at their house and argued with Hitesh. After moving away from the residence, Mali reportedly immolated himself. The brothers extinguished the flames with soil and rushed him to hospital. Mali, a resident of Badabagh, worked as a Flipkart delivery agent, earning Rs 13 per parcel. Hitesh Prajapat claimed that Mali had collected Rs 4,500 from customers but failed to deposit it with the company, eventually quitting his job and ignoring follow-up calls. On Tuesday, Mali's brother allegedly advised Prajapat to seize his phone if he failed to repay the amount. Kotwali station in-charge Premdan Ratnu, currently on leave, said, an investigation is underway.

Delivery Boy Sets Himself On Fire At Manager's Home In Jaisalmer Over Mobile Phone Dispute

Last Updated: In Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, ex-Flipkart delivery boy Prakash Mali attempted self-immolation after a payment dispute with manager Hitesh Prajapat. In a shocking late-night incident that stunned Rajasthan's Jaisalmer city, a young delivery boy working for an e-commerce giant attempted self-immolation following a heated confrontation with his former manager over a disputed payment. The incident unfolded around 9 PM on Tuesday, April 22, in Achalvanshi Colony, where Prakash Mali, a former delivery executive for Flipkart, arrived at the home of his manager Hitesh Prajapat. Mali, a resident of Barabagh area, was agitated and demanded the return of his mobile phone, recounted eyewitnesses. The situation quickly escalated when Prajapat refused to comply, citing an unresolved financial dispute. Despite attempts by Hitesh's brother, Chandraprakash, to pacify the youth, Mali allegedly stormed away from the house. Moments later, in a horrific turn, he doused himself with petrol and set himself on fire just 50 feet from the property. The chilling scene left bystanders in a state of shock. Speaking to reporters, Chandraprakash recounted the harrowing moment, saying that they saw the flames and rushed to save him. 'We threw soil on him and managed to extinguish the fire. Then we rushed him to Jawahar Hospital," he said. Mali, who suffered serious burn injuries, was later referred to a medical facility in Jodhpur for advanced treatment. Cops from Kotwali police station, led by Station House Officer Premdan Ratan, are currently probing the case. 'We are gathering all statements and verifying the facts. Appropriate legal action will follow based on the investigation," he stated. The incident appears to have stemmed from a bitter monetary dispute. According to Prajapat, Mali had been employed as a delivery agent for Flipkart and was paid Rs 13 per parcel delivered. Prajapat alleged that Mali collected Rs 4,500 from a customer for a delivery but failed to deposit the amount with the company. 'When we asked him to return the money, he abruptly left the job ten days ago and began avoiding our calls," Prajapat claimed. The tension reportedly intensified when Mali's brother called Prajapat to demand the return of Mali's mobile phone which Prajapat claimed that he had held as leverage to recover the company's dues. CBI court orders criminal case against top police officers over Barmer's Prajapat ‘encounter'

Jodhpur: In a significant development, the ACJM (CBI) court here has rejected the Central Bureau of Investigation's (CBI) closure report in the controversial Kamlesh Prajapat encounter case and ordered criminal proceedings against senior police officials, including former Superintendents of Police Kaluram Rawat (Pali) and Anand Sharma (Barmer). Magistrate Anubhav Tiwari, while hearing a protest petition filed by Prajapat's widow Jasoda, directed the CBI on April 16 to investigate the potential involvement of former revenue minister and Congressman Harish Choudhary, his brother Manish Choudhary and former IG (Jodhpur Range) Navjyoti Gogoi. The agency has been given two months to submit its findings. The case relates to the death of Prajapat in an alleged encounter in Barmer on April 22, 2021, which sparked widespread protests with locals claiming it was a staged killing. The investigation, initially handled by the local police, was transferred to CID-CB and subsequently to the CBI following public outrage. The lower court found significant discrepancies in the police's version of events. While authorities had labelled Prajapat a "dreaded drug smuggler," the court noted there were no prior NDPS Act cases against him. Questions were also raised about the authenticity of evidence, including a controversial seizure memo signed by tehsildar Prem Singh Choudhary, related to the former revenue minister's brother. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like 2025 Top Trending local enterprise accounting software Esseps Learn More Undo In its scathing order, the court stated, "A murder committed by the police without provocation, based on a conspiracy, cannot be considered an act carried out in official duty, especially when evidence has been tampered with and the investigation misled." The CBI's closure report, submitted on May 31, 2021, had cited the unavailability of CCTV footage from Prajapat's residence due to tampering as a reason for its inability to establish the encounter as fake. However, the court found this explanation insufficient and observed that the police claims supporting the encounter appeared fabricated. The case has now been reopened, with the court directing a thorough investigation into what appears to be a coordinated action between Pali and Barmer police departments that led to Prajapat's death. This development marks a crucial turning point in the case, potentially exposing serious misconduct within the state's law enforcement apparatus and political establishment.
