Traffic chaos after two-truck crash
Traffic is at a standstill in Sydney's southwest after a truck crash on a busy motorway. All northbound lanes on the M7 in Prestons are shut after a two-truck crash just past Kurrajong Rd on Friday morning. Cars have started to pile up along the M7, stretching back to Hoxton Park Reserve. Emergency services and traffic crews were called to the scene about 6.50am and remain on site. Motorists travelling northbound from the Hume Motorway have been encouraged to use the Camden Valley Way and Cowpasture Road instead, LiveTraffic NSW wrote. Those driving westbound on the M5 have been told to exit the motorway at Casula and use the Hume Hwy and Elizabeth Drive. There, they can rejoin the M7 at Cecil Hills. 'Expect delays,' the LiveTraffic website read. 'Use an alternative route.' More to come
