New grocery store franchise opens in Hubbard
HUBBARD, Ohio (WKBN) – A new grocery store is now open in Trumbull County. Price Cutter on W. Liberty Street in Hubbard is in the same space that once housed Save A Lot. Price Cutter is the first of its kind in the area and one of the franchise's first locations in the state. It sells several products with several price options. 'Branding is our Price Cutter line. So within the store, we are going to have different tiered systems for different products. We are going to have a Save Always — which is our base, Price Cutter — which is our private brand which is about middle ground, then we are going to cover all brand name products as well,' said Kalyn Null, store manager. There was a soft opening at the store on Friday. The big ribbon-cutting is planned for February 26. Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc. All rights reserved.
