Stabbed Good Samaritan fighting for life
A French national was stabbed multiple times after attempting to break up a Brisbane brawl, it is reported. The man was seriously injured after the incident just before 3.30am on Friday on the corner of Wickham and Brunswick streets, outside the Prince Consort Hotel in Fortitude Valley. 'Two people were fighting, and he was right in the middle and he got stabbed, I think, three times and he started bleeding,' the man said. Two people have been taken into custody and are assisting police with inquiries, Queensland Police said. No charges have been laid at this stage.
