New photo of Prince George released as royals celebrate 12th birthday
A new picture of Prince George has been shared as the Royal Family marks his 12th birthday. The photo was taken by Josh Shinner earlier this year in Norfolk. The Prince and Princess of Wales often share photographs of their children with their followers - many of them taken by keen amateur photographer Kate - to mark special occasions such as birthdays. George was last seen at Wimbledon, and watched on with William and Princess Charlotte as Kate presented the Wimbledon men's trophy to Jannik Sinner. After becoming the first Italian to win a Wimbledon singles title, Sinner met the royals and signed tennis balls for George and Charlotte. Royal watchers spot Kate's former longtime PA's cheeky Meghan act
IN LONDON The Princess of Wales' former longtime personal assistant has made some telling updates to her social media account. Shortly after it was revealed last week that Kate's former employee and close friend, Natasha Archer, is departing Kensington Palace after 15 years, she made her Instagram page public – and royal watchers were quick to notice that she followed Meghan and her business, As Ever. However, Ms Archer, 37, has since unfollowed both the accounts, according to US magazine People. The former royal staffer had also been following members of the Duchess of Sussex's inner circle, including Daniel Martin and Heather Dorak – but they, too, appeared to have been removed. It was reported last week that Ms Archer had quit her job with the Palace in order to set up her own private consultancy. She was known to be an invaluable member of the private household, and has been by Kate's side for key events – both personally and professionally – throughout the years. According to People, the royal couple has 'wished Natasha the very best for the exciting opportunities ahead'. Ms Archer first joined royal employment in 2010 and worked as a personal assistant to both Prince William and Kate – the latter of whom she developed a close friendship with over the years, and became an unofficial stylist. Last year, it emerged that she had been promoted to senior private executive assistant for both the Prince and Princess of Wales back in 2022. 'Natasha deserves this boost — she's unfailingly discreet and loyal to Kate. The salary boost will be welcome too. This appointment means we can expect to see Natasha by Kate's side for years to come,' a source told the Daily Mail at the time. 'It seems to be Kate's way of thanking her for her loyalty.' Ms Archer is widely credited with reshaping Kate's wardrobe in recent years, evolving her royal look from the more traditional coat dresses to modern suits. She is also reportedly a close confidante for the princess, providing support and discretion during her cancer battle and subsequent break from the public eye throughout last year.

Princess Charlotte breaks long-standing royal tradition
Princess Charlotte has broken a long-standing royal tradition with her choice of outfit at Wimbledon. Charlotte sported a cream-coloured dress with a navy outline, and–uncharacteristically–bright pink nail polish. Although, technically, the royals are allowed to wear any shade of nail polish, neutral tones are generally preferred and are considered more practical. The unofficial royal tradition was established by the late Queen Elizabeth herself, who was said to have found bright nail polish colours too 'distracting'. The Queen reportedly only ever wore a sheer pale pink polish—the same colour that the Princess of Wales was said to have worn on her wedding day in 2011. It's believed that the younger royals may continue to incorporate brighter colours into their outfits as a way to modernize the monarchy.
