Urva Savaliya on his journey in Chakravarti Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan: It's an emotional moment for me Prithviraj Chauhan embraces his destiny to be king

Historical epic Chakravarti Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan continues to enthrall audiences with its gripping narrative of legacy, sacrifice, and the making of a child king. The upcoming episodes will mark the emotional death of King Someshwar, essayed by Ronit, who plays the noble and steadfast father to Prithviraj . As the story moves forward, one of the most awaited moments in the show, actor Urva Savaliya, who essays the role of the young warrior prince, will be seen stepping into his destiny with a grand coronation sequence, marking the beginning of his journey as one of the most revered kings in Indian history. Speaking about this significant milestone, Urva Savaliya shared, 'I felt really happy and proud wearing the crown and becoming King Prithviraj on screen. While shooting the scene, I kept remembering all the things I had learned about him, how brave he was, how much he loved his people, and how he always wanted to do the right thing. I wanted to show that in my eyes, my voice, and the way I sat on the throne. I tried my best to imagine how he must have felt at that moment. I also missed Ronit sir a lot while doing this scene. His presence has always been so encouraging. But this also means I must be stronger and ready for what's coming next in the story. It's a proud and emotional moment for me as Prithviraj finally embraces his destiny to be king.' Recently, the actor shared his experience of working with the veteran actor Roni Roy. Urva said, 'Working with Ronit sir was truly special. He brought such dignity and strength to King Someshwar, and that helped me shape Prithvi's journey with more depth. Our scenes together were intense, emotional, and incredibly grounding. I genuinely miss the days where it felt like a real father figure on set.' Ekta Kapoor back with TV show 'Kalash'

Sarzameen trailer OUT: Fans impressed by Kajol and Prithviraj, but Ibrahim Ali Khan draws mixed reactions

The trailer of 'Sarzameen', an upcoming Hindi-language political family drama, has dropped — and the internet is already buzzing with reactions. Directed by Karan Sharma, the film stars Prithviraj Sukumaran, Kajol, and Ibrahim Ali Khan in pivotal roles. Directed by KAyoze Irani, the film is set against the backdrop of national duty and personal loss. 'Sarzameen' explores the emotional and ideological turmoil within a fractured family. Prithviraj plays a hardened army officer whose sense of duty overshadows his empathy for his son, Harman (played by Ibrahim Ali Khan). When Harman unexpectedly joins a radical extremist group and turns against his own country, the narrative unravels into a tense and emotional conflict. Kajol plays the role of Meher, the mother, trapped in the crossfire of ideology and motherhood. Her portrayal, seen briefly in the trailer, is filled with anguish as she pleads with her husband to bring their son back — not as a soldier, but as a father. Fan reactions to the trailer have been mixed. While veterans Kajol and Prithviraj are receiving praise for their intensity and screen presence, viewers remain sceptical about Ibrahim Ali Khan's debut performance. One social media user pointedly noted, 'Notice that there is not a single dialogue of Ibrahim in the trailer? They knew once he opens his mouth, the whole hype will be ruined (sic).' Another commented, 'Ek taraf Kajol aur Prithviraj ki acting building the trailer up, dusri taraf Ibrahim's acting cracking me up. I'm so conflicted (sic).' Despite this, some are holding out hope. 'Kajol + Prithviraj + raw emotion = BLOCKBUSTER loading (sic),' wrote one enthusiastic fan. Others seemed more focused on the film's familiar premise: 'Family vs Nation — most used and tested concept… Trailer looks fine. Will draw conclusions after watching the film (sic).' There were even unexpected takeaways from the trailer. 'I am so ready for romance movie Kajol,' another user tweeted. 'Hit me with angst, romance, love triangles… all the possibilities! (sic)' 'Sarzameen' appears poised to walk the tightrope between patriotic drama and domestic emotion. Whether it strikes a balance remains to be seen — but for now, it has certainly sparked curiosity. The film will arrive on JioHotstar on July 25.

Sarzameen trailer: Ibrahim Ali Khan looks not so nadaan in this father vs son patriotic drama

Sarzameen trailer: Once again, it's father versus son, but this time, the conflict is wrapped in the trappings of nationalism. On Friday, Dharma Productions unveiled the trailer of Sarzameen. The film, set against the backdrop of the Indian Army's fight against terrorism, stars Kajol, Ibrahim Ali Khan and Prithviraj Sukumaran in intense, emotionally charged roles. The trailer, over two minutes long, opens with a haunting voiceover by Prithviraj: 'Jaante ho, kuch ghaav aise hote hain… woh tab tak nahi bharte jab tak unki yaad nahi mit jaati (There are some wounds that don't heal until their memories fade).' We soon see a bloodied and bruised Ibrahim, isolated in a freezing landscape, dressed in an Indian Army uniform. As the visuals intensify, Prithviraj interrogates a young Harman (Ibrahim): 'Tumhe maara kyun nahi? Jawaab do Harman! (Why didn't you hit back? Answer me!)' Kajol, portraying the mother, enters the scene attempting to fill the gap between father and son. She confronts Prithviraj with raw emotion: 'Sharm aati hai na tumhe? (Are you ashamed of him?)' Amid this emotional turbulence, Ibrahim Ali Khan's voice rises in the background: 'Main jaanta hoon woh mujhe kamzor samajhte hain… shayad pyaar bhi nahi karte (I know he thinks I'm weak… maybe he doesn't even love me).' Kajol, in an attempt to console and bridge the gap, pleads: 'Chahe ek bete ko jitna bhi pyaar maa se mile, banna woh hamesha apne baap jaisa chahta hai (No matter how much a mother loves her son, he always wants to be like his father).' As the trailer unfolds, it takes a darker turn. Ibrahim is seen fighting off attackers in the rain, soaked in blood. The plot twist arrives when he seemingly turns against not just his father but the nation itself. Prithviraj delivers a thunderous line: 'Sarzameen se badhkar mere liye kuch bhi nahi… chahe woh mera beta hi kyu na ho (Nothing comes before my motherland, not even my son).' ALSO READ | Archana Puran Singh yells at son Ayushmaan as he walks into the sea: 'Do you know how many people drown every year?' The twist doesn't end here. Suddenly, the makers show the possibilities of Ibrahim Ali Khan being an imposter from Pakistan. 'This is not your son, Meher,' says Prithviraj. The mood of the film soon shifts with Ibrahim sitting in a jeep somewhere in Kashmir with a gun in his hand. Prithviraj, on gun point, asks Ibrahim, 'Who are you? I know you are not Harman.' A worried Kajol says, 'Mujhe apna beta wapas chahiye (I need my son back).' There is tension, drama, emotion and a bomb blast. Who is the real Harman? Why did he turn against his motherland? What made him become a terrorist? All this will be unveiled on July 25 when the film will hit Jio Hotstar. The film's trailer soon caught the attention of movie buffs. A comment read, 'Family Vs Nation concept – Most used and tested concept … Hope we could see something extraordinary in this formula. Trailer looks fine … Will draw conclusions after watching movie only.' Another netizen asked, 'Is this the official remake of Mission Kashmir because the concept is sort of the same.' Sarzameen, directed by Kayoze Irani, is written by Soumi Shukla and Arun Singh. Kayoze Irani is the son of veteran star Boman Irani. Sarzameen is his second directorial post Ajeeb Daastaans (2021).
