ghd's heat protection spray that's 'transformed' dry hair and 'smells amazing' is now £15
It's no secret that heat is bad for hair, but shoppers can protect their locks with a bargain hair care spray
For many people, heat styling tools are a key part of daily haircare routines. However, too much heat can wreak havoc, turning once-luscious locks into dry, brittle bird nests.
That's why a quality heat protectant is so important - and now shoppers can get a premium hair care product from beloved brand ghd for less. Amazon has a deal on the ghd Bodyguard Heat Protect Spray, which is now £15.20 down from £23.95, and promises to protect against heat damage for hair that both looks and feels healthier.
The spray is suitable for all hair types, and is also sulphate free, paraben free and cruelty free. According to the brand, the product works with "protection polymers to help protect hair from heat whilst improving the condition of the hair cuticle after heat styling".
For best results, evenly apply the spray to towel-dried hair and blow-dry. Alternatively, it can be applied lightly onto dry hair before heat styling.

This wallet-friendly solution is enriched with keratin proteins and marula oil and reduces frizz, detangles knots, boosts shine, adds softness and minimises flyaways, as well as offering up to 230C heat protection.
However, ghd Bodyguard has a great 4.6-star rating on Amazon. One buyer said: "Firstly, I love the smell. My hair seemed to dry quicker and the end result was amazing, It not only protected my hair from the heat, but left my very thick hair swishy. I went out and met some friends and got lots of compliments on the look of my hair, it also left it feeling silky."
Another said: "Very good hair heat protection from the hair styling products and can see it really works cause after hair styling hair looks very shiny."
However, some found it wasn't quite right for them. One buyer said: "It's ok. Made my hair feel dry. The spray wasn't good, it came out in spurts rather than a fine mist."
