Sony is expanding its BRAVIA lineup with the launch of four new home entertainment products: the BRAVIA Projector 7 and BRAVIA Projector 9, along with the BRAVIA Theatre System 6 and BRAVIA Theatre Bar 6. The new launch is part of the company's plans to expand new projector and sound system options for users who are looking for large-screen viewing and surround sound setups for cinematic experience at Projector 7 and 9 specification In its projector lineup, Sony has launched BRAVIA Projector 7 and Projector 9. Both the projectors are powered by Sony's XR Processor to offer users 4K cinematic viewing experience. These projectors support four image enhancement features — XR Dynamic Tone Mapping (for adjusting brightness frame by frame), XR Deep Black (for darker scenes), XR TRILUMINOS PRO (for wider color reproduction), and XR Clear Image (for upscaling and detail restoration).The BRAVIA Projector 9 produces 3,400 lumens, while the Projector 7 offers 2,200 lumens, both using a laser light source. Both models support 4K at 120fps, with 12ms input lag, and HDMI 2.1 support. These features are also aimed at users who are looking to build gaming setups. Meanwhile, the Projector 9 also includes a Live Colour Enhancer to improve image vibrancy in bright rooms. These additional projectors also include corner keystone correction, lens shift, and aspect ratio scaling in the Projector 7, allowing users to switch between 2.35:1 and 16:9 content without physical System 6 and Bar 6 specification advertisementAlong with projectors, Sony has introduced two new sound systems. Sony also said that the new projectors are compatible with IMAX Enhanced content, delivering larger-than-life visuals and a more immersive home viewing experience. For gaming, the new Bravia projectors support 4K graphics at 120 fps. It also gets an auto low-latency mode through HDMI 2.1. Other notable features include Live Colour Enhancer that Sony said provides vibrant images without compromising on saturation, and Aspect Ratio Scaling that allows users to switch between 2.35:1 and 16:9 aspect ratio without having to adjust the lens. Sony said that the Bravia Projector 9 and Projector 7 are compatible with home automation solutions such as Control4, Crestron, Savant, AMX and remote maintenance services OvrC and Domotz. They also come with Corner Keystone correction and lens shift functions to ensure installations in rooms with higher ceilings and limited depth.
