Oxford's cafe culture 'thriving' as most popular city cafes ranked
A new study has ranked the most popular cafes in Oxford and revealed its "thriving" cafe culture.
Research into which is the most popular of Oxford's more than 130 cafes has revealed which ones made the top 10.
Taking the number one spot is Bbuona Pinsa Bar in Gloucester Green market, a vintage cafe specialising in traditional Italian pinsa plus coffee, cocktails and gelato.

The study was put together based on Tripadvisor review counts and ratings, and found Bbuona Pinsa Bar had an outstanding 681 reviews and a score of 4.89, widely praised for warm service, quality food and fair prices in a central location .
Bbuona Pinsa Bar The Paper Boat Cafe in Folly Bridge came in a close second place, attracting customers for its riverside location and relaxed atmosphere, scoring 4.83 with 38 reviews.

And third place went to Proof Social Bakehouse in Sandford Lane Industrial Estate, a modern bakery-cafe with a score of 4.82 across 33 reviews.

The research came from and a spokesperson for the site said: "Cafes often mean more to the communities they serve than just a place to grab coffee - they're a space to unwind, connect with others, work, and write.

"That level of consistency in service and quality speaks volumes about the passion and dedication behind each cup."
The rest of the top 10 cafes were Raw Vegan Flavours, The Olive Branch, Spires Cafe, Yellow Submarine, Missing Bean, Turtle Pizza Cafe and Love Coffe Co.
