Two people dead after motorcycle and SUV collide in Annapolis County

Two people are dead after a vehicle and motorcycle collided in Deep Brook, N.S., on Canada Day.
Annapolis District RCMP responded to the two-vehicle collision on Highway 101 near Purdy Road around 1:35 p.m. Tuesday.
Police say a westbound Dodge Journey SUV and eastbound Honda motorcycle collided head-on.
The motorcycle driver and passenger – a 64-year-old man and a 63-year-old woman from Bear River East – died at the scene.
The driver of the SUV – a 51-year-old man from Meteghan River – was airlifted to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
