Drake's Latest Shirtless Selfie Is Going Viral For All The Wrong Reasons, So Here's An Explainer On The Speculation Around His 'Fake Abs'
If you've kept up with Drake over the years, you might be aware of a long-running rumor that he underwent cosmetic surgery to get a 6-pack. Back in 2016, media personality and ex-rapper Joe Budden famously claimed that Drake privately 'saw Dr. Miami' — a renowned plastic surgeon who famously works with celebrity clients. In response to someone who asked why he'd fired shots at Drake's 'sculpted stomach,' Joe claimed, 'Cuz he saw Dr. Miami & didn't tell y'all…. HipHop weird now lol.' Twitter: @JoeBudden Related: A couple of years later, rapper Pusha T seemingly echoed this sentiment on his infamous Drake diss track 'The Story of Adidon,' which included the lyrics, 'Surgical summer with it, snip, snip, snip.' In 2019, Drake hit back at a comment from DJ Carnage — with whom he was close friends — that mentioned his alleged plastic surgery. Carnage wrote, 'You got fake ab surgery in Colombia. You ain't fooling anybody,' to which Drake replied, 'Is this cause you are angry about the one thing that happened with that one person the other day that you thought was your wifey?' Fast forward to just last year, and the speculation around Drake's abs reached new heights after Kendrick Lamar released a very pointed lyric on his scathing track 'euphoria' amid their memorable feud. He rapped, 'Let your core audience stomach that, then tell 'em where you get your abs from.' Related: On 'Meet The Grahams,' which is another diss track targeted towards Drake, Kendrick claimed: 'You lied about your surgery.' Fellow artist Megan Thee Stallion also appeared to fuel the speculation on her 2024 track 'HISS.' She rapped, 'All these lil' rap n*ggas so fraud … These n*ggas hate on BBLs and be walkin' 'round with the same scars,' which some fans interpreted as a diss towards Drake, who rapped in 2022: 'This bitch lie 'bout gettin' shots, but she still a stallion.' Several people guessed that Drake was accusing Megan of lying about being shot by Tory Lanez, which you can read more about here, though some questioned if he was also accusing her of lying about getting cosmetic injections. It's worth highlighting that amid all the rumors, there is no proof that Drake has undergone cosmetic surgery. But with that in mind, a recent shirtless selfie from the rapper has fueled speculation that his abs are 'fake.' Related: On Sunday, Drake shared this selfie as part of an Instagram carousel: And the comments didn't hold back. 'Ordered abs from temu n forgot to add shoulders n tri lol,' read one comment with over 18,000 likes. Another said, 'No shoulders, no biceps, deflated chest but extremely defined abs lmao.' 'The belly button is a dead giveaway,' someone suggested. Related: Meanwhile, users of Reddit were equally perplexed. 'The level of definition in his abs makes absolutely no sense with the rest of his body,' one person wrote. Another quipped, 'It's giving 'novelty apron.'' 'Kendrick Lamar will be writing a new track after seeing this pic,' someone said. Well then! Let me know what you think down below. Clipse drops tracklist for the highly anticipated album 'Let God Sort Em Out'
Clipse has unveiled the much-anticipated tracklist for their comeback album, Let God Sort Em Out, set for release on July 11. After months of speculation, fans can now confirm the star-studded lineup of features on the 13-track record. Kendrick Lamar's collaboration on Chains & Whips has been a topic of discussion for some time, and his presence on the album is finally official. Other notable artists joining the Virginia duo include John Legend, Tyler, The Creator, Stove God Cooks, Ab-Liva, The-Dream, Voices of Fire, and Nas. Despite early rumours, there is no feature from JAY-Z, even though his entertainment group is distributing the album. Last year, Pusha T hinted at awaiting a verse from a "mystery artist," but it seems Hov will not be joining the project. Pusha T, Malice) ▫️ All Things Considered… — NFR Podcast (@nfr_podcast) June 30, 2025 In addition to the confirmed collaborations, fans were eager to see if the track "So Be It," which featured a diss aimed at Travis Scott, would appear on the album. Instead of the original single, a Pt. II version has been included. The absence of the first part from the album suggests it may have been more of a promotional tool than a major component of the final tracklist. What stands out is the return of Tyler, The Creator and Ab-Liva. Tyler, a long-time fan of Clipse, last worked with them on Pusha T's 2011 track Trouble on My Mind. Ab-Liva, a long-time collaborator, also brings continuity to the album's sound. Let God Sort Em Out is entirely produced by Pharrell Williams, ensuring a cohesive sonic experience throughout the project. Fans will have to wait until July 11 to hear the full album, but the tracklist has already generated significant buzz. Tracklist for Let God Sort Em Out:

Pusha T and Malice Reunite as Clipse, With Vengeance on Their Minds
For over two decades, Pusha T and Malice — the Virginia brothers who make up the rap duo Clipse — have tended to a very specific corner of hip-hop. As a unit and apart, they have been the purists, the moralists, the keepers of a traditionalist flame that lies perilously close to nostalgia, but somehow remains alive with possibility. While the genre has iterated countless times around and beside them, the pair remained faithful to a subject (drug dealing) and a style (ice pick-sharp minimalism) that might not have made them superstars, but has cemented them as a connoisseur's pick, immune to trends. 'Let God Sort Em Out,' out July 11, is the fourth Clipse studio album and first since 2009. Produced in full by Pharrell Williams, a longtime collaborator and benefactor, it is like a familiar cold plunge: harsh, reassuring, invigorating. The LP is a clear continuation of the work they did in the 2000s that made them favorites of street-rap realists and internet-fueled curio seekers. But the duo has also focused its single-minded pugnaciousness, turning it into a refined marketing savvy. For years, Clipse's commitment to form and code has put them at odds with key figures in the genre. The most recent is Travis Scott, rap's big-tent carnival barker, whom Pusha T calls on the carpet on a new single, 'So Be It.' Once cordial acquaintances in the Kanye West universe, the two diverged following an incident in Paris, when Scott premiered new music for Clipse and Pharrell while withholding that he was collaborating with Drake, a known foe. 'That was corny,' Pusha T said recently in an interview for Popcast, The New York Times's music podcast. 'He's shameless.' Pusha T's long-running feud with Drake — it was he who announced to the world, in 'The Story of Adidon,' from 2018, that Drake had a son — has hovered over much of the music Pusha T has released in the last few years. Pusha T Takes Aim at Travis Scott on Clipse's New ‘So Be It' Single: ‘He's a Whore'
After giving media members an early listen to Let God Sort Em Out at Roc Nation HQ in NYC, Clipse returned to heat up the summer with the album's second single on Tuesday (June 17) as the Pharrell-produced 'So Be It' arrived. Pusha T and Malice trade fiery bars over Skateboard P's chiseled production, but a ton of eyeballs went to Pusha's scathing final verse, which finds him sniping at Travis Scott. More from Billboard Kneecap Launch London Billboard Takeover Ahead of 'Witch-Hunt' Court Appearance Hatebreed Guitarist Exits Tour Following Diagnosis of Brain Tumor Oasis to Launch Pop-Up Merch Stores Alongside Reunion Tour Dates in U.K. & Ireland 'You cried in front of me, you died in front of me/ Calabasas took your b—h and your pride in front of me/ Heard Utopia had moved right up the street/ And her lip gloss was poppin', she ain't need you to eat,' Push raps in what appears to be a reference to Scott's split from beauty mogul and reality star Kylie Jenner. Billboard has reached out to Scott for comment. Some speculated that the verse was about his former G.O.O.D. Music running mate, Ye (formerly Kanye West), but King Push confirmed to GQ that he had smoke for La Flame. Pusha T explained that his issues with Scott were tied to the Cactus Jack rapper pulling up to Louis Vuitton HQ to play his 2023 Utopia album for Pharrell while Clipse was also working on their upcoming album. 'He's like, 'Oh, man, everybody's here,' he's smiling, laughing, jumping around, doing his f–king monkey dance. We weren't into the music, but he wanted to play it, wanted to film [us and Pharrell listening to it],' he recalled. 'And then a week later you hear 'Meltdown,' which he didn't play. He played the song, but not [Drake's verse].' Drake takes several shots at Pharrell on the track and says he's going to melt P's classic jewelry. 'Melt down the chains that I bought from your boss, give a f—k about all of that heritage s—t,' he raps. Having that verse on Utopia after playing the track for Pharrell didn't sit right with Pusha T, as he feels Scott aligns with whoever when it's convenient for him, but doesn't stand by his loyalty to anyone. 'He's done this a lot. He has no picks. He'll do this with anybody. He did it with 'Sicko Mode'… He was on the [Rolling Loud] stage like, 'Play that, play that,'' Push said in reference to 'Like That,' which sparked the Drake and Kendrick Lamar feud. 'He don't have no picks, no loyalty to nobody. He'll jump around whatever he feels is hot or cling onto whatever he feels is hot.' Pusha T continued: 'So, that's where my issue comes in — like, dawg, don't even come over here with that, because at the end of the day, I don't play how y'all play. To me, that really was just like … He's a whore. He's a whore.' Look for Let God Sort Em Out to drop on July 11. Watch the 'So Be It' video below. Pusha T 新歌〈So Be It〉再對 Travis Scott 開火,揭露兩人之間恩怨始末
在 Clipse 最新單曲〈So Be It〉中,Pusha T再度將矛頭對準Travis Scott。 除了釋出〈So Be It〉的 MV,Clipse 亦同步公開新專輯《Let God Sort Em Out》的另一款 Verdy 視覺封面及周邊,包括 Verdy 風格 T-shirt、Vick 圖案,以及黑膠、CD 和卡式帶。 這對兄弟檔闊別 16 年的首張專輯《Let God Sort Em Out》,將於 7 月 11 日正式發行,相關周邊已於官方網店上架。
