Allu Arjun to play 4 roles in Atlee's AA22xA6 starring Deepika, Janhvi and Rashmika? Here's everything we know
Superstar Allu Arjun and filmmaker Atlee's upcoming film AA22xA6 was already one of the most awaited films of Indian cinema. But the excitement increased tenfold when Bollywood beauty Deepika Padukone joined the star cast. Later, it was reported that actors Janhvi Kapoor, Mrunal Thakur and Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2 co-star Rashmika Mandanna are also a part of the team. But what is the magnum opus about? Well, latest buzz suggests that Allu Arjun will be seen playing an entire family tree in the Atlee film, making this the actor's first ever multiple role project. Deepika Padukone, Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna In a report shared by Bollywood Hungama, a source was quoted saying, 'Allu is playing the entire family tree in Atlee's next film. He will be seen as a grandfather, father, and two sons in the film, making it a quadruple role for Allu. This would mark the first multiple role film of his career.' Initially Atlee had Allu Arjun in mind for a double role and planned to cast two more actors as the father and grandfather. The source explained, 'However, Allu insisted on playing all four characters himself. At first, Atlee was hesitant, but on doing the look test, he felt this worked in favour of the film. The audiences will get to see 4 different avatars of Allu Arjun at the price of one ticket.' Now that is exciting. Another major highlight in the film is going to be Rashmika Mandanna's character. In Pushpa: The Rise (2021) and Pushpa 2: The Rule, we fell in love with Rashmika and her saami Allu Arjun's onscreen chemistry as a couple. But in AA22xA6, for the first time ever, fans will reportedly witness Rashmika as the negative lead, the villain! As the antagonist, Rashmika will apparently lock horns with Allu Arjun, Deepika, Janhvi and Mrunal. If this does not leave you desperately awaiting AA22xA6's release, we don't know what will!

Video: In 'Pushpa' -Esque Scene, Lakhs Of Logs Float Down Stream In Himachal Pradesh
In a scene that could have been straight out of the blockbuster 'Pushpa: The Rise', wooden logs worth crores were spotted floating down a river in Himachal Pradesh. A viral video taken from atop a bridge shows lakhs of wooden logs floating near the Pandoh Dam in Mandi after floating downstream from Kullu. In the movie 'Pushpa: The Rise' the protagonist played by Allu Arjun is involved in the trade of red sandalwood and, to avoid getting caught at police checkpoints, he dumps the logs in a stream and retrieves them at a dam downstream. The Himachal video was from June 24 and the opposition said it could point to illegal timber cutting in forests in the state, with the smugglers employing a similar modus operandi. The state government, while pointing out that the logs could be a result of trees getting uprooted because of flash floods, has ordered a Crime Investigation Department (CID) inquiry. After a meeting of the Himachal Pradesh State Disaster Management Authority chaired by Chief Minister Sukhvinder Sukhu on Monday, his principal adviser Naresh Chauhan said in Hindi, "We took action immediately and asked officials from the forest department to find out what happened. People are saying there could be illegal tree felling, but the floating logs could be a result of cloudbursts. Trees get uprooted and other logs that lie on the forest floor for years are also swept away." "We have taken this very seriously, however, and Chief Minister Sukhu has ordered an inquiry to find out if there is any illegal felling. We are also helping everyone affected by the cloudbursts in the state," he added. Himachal Pradesh has seen at least 23 flash floods, 19 cloudbursts and 16 landslides since the onset of the monsoon on June 20. At least 78 people have died and over 30 are missing.

'If I Had Beard...': Uddhav Takes 'Pushpa' Jibe At Mahayuti During Joint Rally With Raj
Last Updated: The Thackeray brothers came together on Saturday to celebrate the Maharashtra government's decision to withdraw Hindi as an optional third language Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray, sharing the stage with cousin Raj Thackeray after two decades on Saturday, took a swipe at the ruling Mahayuti with a popular dialogue from the film 'Pushpa: The Rise'. The Thackeray brothers came together on Saturday to celebrate the Maharashtra government's decision to withdraw Hindi as an optional third language. The joint event, titled 'Awaj Marathicha', marked their reunion after two decades. 'How helpless should I be? I've seen the film Pushpa. If I had a beard like him, I too would've said, 'Jhukega nahi saala,'" said Uddhav during his address at the joint rally in Mumbai. He further hinted at a political reunion with Raj Thackeray's Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS), saying: 'We have come together to stay together. We have united to protect Marathi." 'I want to tell you all that us coming together is just a trailer. This is the beginning," he added. Earlier, MNS Raj Thackeray referred to his reunion with Uddhav and said: 'CM Fadnavis managed to do what Balasaheb Thackeray could not – bring myself and Uddhav together." Looking ahead to the upcoming elections in 29 municipal corporations across Mumbai, Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray asserted that he and Raj Thackeray would together take control of the Mumbai civic body and the state of Maharashtra. The rally, named 'Awaj Marathicha,' drew wide public attention and participation from prominent personalities across various fields—Marathi literary figures, educators, editors, and artists. While Congress leaders skipped the event, the NCP-SP politicos, including Supriya Sule and Jitendra Awhad, shared the stage with the Thackeray brothers. First Published: July 05, 2025, 14:11 IST
