The Behavioural Healthcare Centre (Daam), member of the Qatar Social Work Foundation, has concluded its awareness campaign at a shopping mall in Doha, drawing significant engagement from diverse segments of the community.
The campaign aimed to introduce the public to the centre's services and diverse programs, while promoting greater societal awareness about the importance of mental and behavioural health. The initiative adopted an inclusive approach, targeting all age groups.
The campaign featured several specialized booths, including an interactive children's corner offering educational games, guided colouring sessions, and the distribution of educational storybooks produced by the centre. Short, age-appropriate films were also screened to communicate key behavioural and mental health concepts in a simplified and engaging manner.
For adults, the centre provided a dedicated awareness booth that offered informative brochures and short films addressing various topics, such as the significance of mental well-being in daily life and strategies for preventing psychological and behavioural challenges.
The Behavioural Healthcare Centre (Daam) is a specialized institution committed to promoting mental and behavioural health across Qatari society. It delivers training and awareness programs tailored for children, adolescents, and families, as well as professionals working in key sectors across the country.
