Qlik Trust Score for AI Now Available in Talend Cloud

Home » Tech Value Chain » Global Brands » Qlik Trust Score for AI Now Available in Talend Cloud Qlik®, a global in data integration, data quality, analytics, and artificial intelligence, has announced the general availability of Qlik Trust Score™ for AI. This innovation is now included within Qlik Talend Cloud®. It helps organizations assess whether data is truly ready for AI before it reaches a model. The Qlik Trust Score for AI introduces purpose-built scoring across AI-specific dimensions. It is designed to help companies establish strong data foundations for responsible and scalable AI. As AI adoption grows, many businesses face a critical challenge they don't know if the data feeding their models is trustworthy. Qlik's solution addresses this by offering a single, intuitive score that reveals where data trust breaks down. This helps prevent bias, drift, and faulty outcomes. Drew Clarke, EVP of Product and Technology at Qlik, stated, 'Most companies still treat data trust like an IT hygiene issue. It's not. It's the foundation of every AI decision a business makes.' He added that without the ability to measure trust, organizations are gambling with outcomes, compliance, and customer experience. The Qlik Trust Score for AI provides a real-time signal that data is fit for purpose. This tool builds on Qlik's existing Trust Score framework with three new AI-focused dimensions: Diversity: Measures representativeness and balance to reduce training bias. Timeliness: Assesses freshness of data for relevant decision-making. Accuracy: Flags values that break business rules or lack reliability. These features combine with metrics like Discoverability and Usage. The solution supports AI training, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, and intelligent automation. Security and LLM Readiness metrics are expected in future updates. Qlik also revealed plans for Trust Score historization, enabling users to track trends over time. This helps correlate trust shifts with issues like model drift or performance drops. In addition, Qlik reported an early access program for an AI-native Data Stewardship experience in Qlik Talend Cloud. Launching this fall, the feature aims to detect and resolve data issues earlier. It will include automated rules, human-in-the-loop workflows, and platform-wide governance. Ritu Jyoti, Group VP/GM at IDC, noted that many AI initiatives fail because of untrustworthy data. 'Without visible metrics for data trust, organizations risk costly failures and stalled adoption,' she said. Charles Link, Senior Director of Data and Analytics at Reworld, emphasized that trust in data is critical. 'The hardest part of AI is rarely the model. It's trusting the data behind it,' he said. A recent Qlik survey revealed only 42% of executives fully trust AI-generated insights, despite nearly 90% seeing AI as vital to their strategy. Qlik Trust Score for AI helps bridge this trust gap with an objective and repeatable framework. It aligns with emerging governance standards. Qlik is the first to deliver a unified, AI-specific trust signal directly into the data pipeline. It integrates measurement, monitoring, and remediation in one platform. The feature is now generally available for Qlik Talend Cloud Enterprise Edition customers.

Qlik Releases Trust Score for AI in Qlik Talend Cloud

PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Qlik®, a global leader in data integration, data quality, analytics, and artificial intelligence, today announced the general availability of Qlik Trust Score™ for AI, an industry-leading innovation designed to help organizations assess whether data is truly ready for AI, before it ever reaches a model. Included within Qlik Talend Cloud®, the Qlik Trust Score for AI introduces purpose-built scoring across AI-specific dimensions, helping customers establish the data foundations needed for responsible, scalable AI. As enterprises accelerate AI adoption, many face a fundamental blind spot: they don't know if the data feeding their models is trustworthy or fit for purpose. Qlik Trust Score for AI solves that problem with a single, intuitive score that shows teams where trust breaks down. This helps prevent bias, drift, or faulty outcomes from taking hold. 'Most companies still treat data trust like an IT hygiene issue. It's not. It's the foundation of every AI decision a business makes,' said Drew Clarke, EVP of Product and Technology at Qlik. 'If you can't measure trust, you're gambling with outcomes, compliance, and customer experience. With Qlik Trust Score for AI, we're giving leaders a living signal, not a gut check, that their data is fit for purpose. That's how you close the gap between AI ambition and AI impact.' Qlik Trust Score for AI builds upon Qlik's original Trust Score framework by introducing three new dimensions purpose-built for AI readiness: Diversity: Measures how representative and balanced the data is, helping to reduce bias in AI training. Timeliness: Captures the freshness of data flowing into AI models, ensuring relevance for more accurate decision-making. Accuracy: Flags values that fall outside user-defined business rules or unreliable quality expectations that can erode organizational trust in AI. Combined with existing metrics like Discoverability and Usage, Qlik Trust Score for AI offers a practical way to validate datasets for use in AI training, RAG pipelines, or intelligent automation, with Security and LLM Readiness dimensions to follow. As a part of Qlik's vision for data quality and governance for AI initiatives, Qlik is also rolling out additional features, including Qlik Trust Score historization, which allows users to monitor trends over time and correlate shifts in trust with downstream impacts, including model drift or performance degradation. In addition, Qlik will also roll out an early access program for an AI-native Data Stewardship experience within Qlik Talend Cloud, aimed at proactively detecting and resolving data issues earlier in the lifecycle. Targeted to launch this fall, this capability will combine automated rules, human-in-the-loop workflows, and platform-wide governance. This enables data teams and AI personas to collaborate more effectively on data quality remediation. 'AI initiatives are still stumbling at alarming rates—only a fraction succeed in delivering enterprise-scale value,' said Ritu Jyoti, Group VP/GM, AI, Automation, Data and Analytics at IDC. 'The missing link isn't the model; it's the data. Without visible metrics for data trust, organizations risk costly failures, unchecked bias, and stalled adoption. A unified trust signal like Qlik's Trust Score for AI gives teams the concrete insight they need to make AI reliable and repeatable.' Reworld is one of many Qlik customers focused on operationalizing trust in their AI strategy. "The hardest part of AI is rarely the model. It's trusting the data behind it. In our business, if we can't stand behind the data, we can't stand behind the decisions,' said Charles Link, Senior Director of Data and Analytics at Reworld. 'A clear, continuous signal that tells you whether data is truly ready for AI creates a new standard. It brings trust out of the shadows and into the conversation, where it belongs.' According to a recent Qlik survey, only 42% of executives express full, audit-ready trust in AI-generated insights, even though nearly 90% say AI is now core to their competitive strategy. The Qlik Trust Score for AI bridges this trust gap with an objective, repeatable framework that aligns to emerging governance standards. Qlik is the first to bring a unified, AI-specific trust signal directly into the heart of the data pipeline. It combines measurement, monitoring, and remediation within one experience. Qlik Trust Score for AI is now generally available to all Qlik Talend Cloud Enterprise Edition customers. To learn more, please visit our website. Americans Would Rather Donate Blood Than Hand Over Their Health Data, Qlik Survey Reveals

PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Qlik ®, a global leader in data integration, data quality, analytics, and artificial intelligence, today announced new research showing that while 69% of Americans are comfortable sharing their health data to improve their own care, only 40% are comfortable sharing that same data with tech companies for AI-driven products. Despite growing AI integration in healthcare, only 28% would accept a prescription written solely by AI, highlighting deep-rooted trust concerns. When asked to choose, more than twice as many Americans would rather donate blood (52%) than donate their health data (24%). This stark gap highlights just how deeply concerns about privacy and control shape attitudes toward healthcare innovation—even as AI continues to advance. The Qlik survey uncovered four clear narratives shaping Americans' healthcare data attitudes: People love data for their own care, hate it for corporate AI. Comfort sharing data drops nearly 30 points—from 69% for personal care to only 40% for commercial AI. This sharp divide highlights public concern around privacy and profit motives, with one-third explicitly uncomfortable with commercial data use. Trust goes to doctors, not AI alone. While nearly 71% reject medicine prescribed exclusively by AI, acceptance climbs to 63% when human clinicians oversee the process, emphasizing the essential role of human judgment in driving public acceptance of healthcare technology. Gen Z trusts government with health data; seniors skeptical. Over half of Gen Z adults (50%) are comfortable with government using their health data for policy, while only 36% of seniors agree, revealing stark generational differences about trust and oversight in digital healthcare. Most believe insurers use their data, but doubt AI's value. Though 41% think insurers already leverage their data, only 34% see current AI-driven care improvements, pointing to a disconnect that could slow down broader acceptance of health-focused AI initiatives. 'AI in healthcare can only succeed when patients and clinicians remain at the center of every decision,' said Mike Capone, CEO of Qlik. 'Qlik empowers healthcare organizations to govern, integrate, and harness their data responsibly—enabling trusted insights and more confident, data-driven care. With transparency and clear consent, we can help ensure that AI enhances, rather than erodes, trust in healthcare.' With nearly 60% of Americans saying they'd share health data if compensated, it's clear that trust and value must go hand-in-hand. Real progress demands more than promises—it requires new models that respect individual control and offer tangible benefits. The healthcare industry has a rare opportunity: reward patients for their participation, build true transparency, and ensure AI drives outcomes that people actually believe in. Methodology The Qlik AI in Healthcare Survey was conducted by Censuswide Research among 2,002 employed US respondents ages 18+ between April 17 and 23, 2025.
