Farmer nabbed for allegedly cultivating marijuana in GenSan
A 53-year-old farmer was arrested after authorities discovered marijuana plants on his farm lot in Barangay San Jose, General Santos City. Police uprooted at least 50 fully grown marijuana plants, each reportedly worth around P200. During the operation, authorities also confiscated a caliber .38 firearm, ammunition, sachets of suspected dried marijuana, and a sack filled with dried marijuana plants. The suspect was taken into police custody and will face charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act (RA 9165) and Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act (RA 10591).

High-value drug suspect, most wanted man nabbed in Pangasinan
Authorities arrested a high-value drug suspect and one of the province's most wanted men in two separate operations in Mangaldan, Pangasinan. Police arrested a 29-year-old man in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Embarcadero. The suspect, a resident of Dagupan City, is reportedly a regional top-priority target. Authorities recovered around 60 grams of suspected shabu worth an estimated P408,000. The suspect is now in police custody and will face charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 (RA 9165). In a separate operation, police also arrested a 40-year-old man from Barangay Maasin, who is listed as the top three most wanted person in Mangaldan and number six at the provincial level. He was wanted for sexual assault. He was arrested through a warrant and is now under police custody.
