AZ Martinez on RAWR, friends at 'end of the table': 'I wouldn't be here without them'
For AZ Martinez, her "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition" journey is unfathomable without the core friends she made inside Bahay ni Kuya. On "Unang Hirit" on Wednesday, AZ and her final duo River Joseph were asked about their "what if" in the show. AZ answered, "What if wala 'yung core group ko? I don't think I'll make it. I don't think I'll be able to make it without 'yung people sa end of the table, 'yung RAWR... and of course, 'yung AzVer." The people at the "end of the table" refer to the housemates that AZ sat with routinely during meals at the dining table: River, Ralph De Leon, Kira Balinger, Josh Ford, Michael Sager, and Emilio Daez, among others. RAWR meanwhile refer to Ralph, AZ, Will Ashley, and River. The four formed a close bond during their stay in Bahay ni Kuya, and it blossomed further during the later parts of the show. AZ's core friends also include the "book club," which comprises of Kira, Josh, AC Bonifacio, and Charlie Fleming. "What if wala sila?" AZ said. "I know I wouldn't be here without them." "Sila 'yung strength ko, isa sila sa reason kung bakit din ako lumabalan and they're my family na talaga," she added. River meanwhile recalled that he had been up for eviction in the first round of nominations, and wondered what his life would have been like had he been sent packing so early. AZ and River (AzVer) became final duos after a series of challenging tasks. AZ eventually picked River as her final duo, and River happily accepted. They were named as the fourth big placers during the Big Night held on July 5 at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City. Brent Manalo and Mika Salamanca (Breka) were named the Big Winner. Ralph De Leon and Will Ashley (RaWi) placed second, while Charlie Fleming and Esnyr placed third. —JCB, GMA Integrated News

'Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition' barkadas launch IG broadcast channels
While the entire batch of "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition" is undoubtedly close, there are barkadas within the barkada whose dynamics won over viewers' hearts. And the housemates are likewise attached, as proven by their continued bonds in the outside world. Days after the show's Big Night, a few broadcast channels were launched on Instagram. Pamilya De Guzman First up is the well-loved Pamilya De Guzman, comprised of "mowm" Klarisse De Guzman, Will Ashley, Mika Salamanca, Esnyr, and Shuvee Etrata. As the name suggests, the members have formed a familial bond inside Bahay ni Kuya. Will created the broadcast channel, while Esnyr and Mika function as moderators, and Klarisse and Shuvee as collaborators. All of them have been sharing hilarious memes from their PBB edition, much to the amusement of fans. RAWR Team RAWR stands for Ralph De Leon, AZ Martinez, Will Ashley, and River Joseph. The name was coined by fans who noticed that the four were always hanging out together, particularly in the latter half of the show. Ralph created the broadcast channel, with his fellow stars as collaborators. Shortly afterwards, AZ shared a mirror selfie of the four of them. "CORE," River said in the channel, referring to what the four of them agreed on in their last day in Bahay ni Kuya — that they are each other's core group of friends. Book Club Of course, who could forget the good-looking book club? Composed of Kira Balinger, Josh Ford, AZ Martinez, Charlie Fleming, and AC Bonifacio, the self-titled group became close early on in the show. They shared a love for books, thus their barkada name. Although their bonding inside Bahay ni Kuya was cut short following a series of evictions, they've made sure to remain close in the outside world. And it looks like they recently adopted Xyriel Manabat, too! AC created the broadcast channel, and AZ even posted a TikTok dance featuring three book club members. Fans can find the broadcast channels on the bio of the aforementioned creators and admins. "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition" ended its four-month run on July 5. Mika and Brent (BreKa) won the title of Big Winner Duo. Ralph and Will (RaWi) placed second, Charlie and Esnyr (CharEs) placed third, and AZ and River (AzVer) placed fourth. Following its success, a second season is in the works. —JCB, GMA Integrated News

Primark in big Manchester store revamp, bigger fashion, beauty and new own-vintage offer
A year of major store upgrades for giant retailers continues, with Primark giving its Manchester Market Street store more than a fresh new look this summer. As part of the renovation plans, the retailer will add a brand-new performance-wear area with enhanced displays, the introduction of its own, all-new vintage clothing offer, as well as a refresh to its RAWR beauty studio. With the full transformation expected to be completed by September, the 25-year-old store will become one of the retailer's biggest flagships on the UK high street, spanning over 150,000 sq ft. It's set to benefit from a new modernised layout, with the introduction of more self-service checkouts and enhanced fixtures and fittings. This includes its windows, which will be updated to create a brighter, lighter shopping experience. There will also be updated walkways, signage, and LED lighting throughout the store. As mentioned, the changes will include the departure of WornWell's vintage clothing concession as the store makes way for Primark's own offer, to be unveiled in July. This will be a pilot for the business and the first of its kind for any Primark store, the retailer noted. Rich Davis, GM at Primark Manchester Market Street, said: 'We'll be open as usual throughout the summer and the team can't wait to unveil our fully revamped store when the time comes.' Meanwhile, the retailer is also expanding its footprint in the Greater Manchester area with the launch of a new standalone Primark Home store at Trafford Palazzo this summer. Spanning two floors and almost 12,000 sq ft, the store will offer an extended range of homeware, furniture, soft furnishings, and include a dedicated Travel Shop and its premium 'The Home Edit ' line.
