Rancho Cucamonga teen riding e-bike hospitalized following crash with pickup truck
A teenager riding an electric bike was hospitalized on Monday after crashing into a pickup truck at a Rancho Cucamonga intersection, police said. It happened just after 2 p.m. on Haven Avenue near 19th Street, according to a news release from the Rancho Cucamonga Police Department. Police say that the teen was riding an "unauthorized electric motorcycle" westbound on 19th Street at the same time that the pickup truck was approaching the intersection. The driver saw the rider and attempted to stop to avoid them, police said. "However, the juvenile rider was unable to stop and collided into the truck," the RCPD release said. "The collision ejected the juvenile rider over the truck into the street. ... Witnesses indicated the juvenile failed to stop for the red light." The teen was taken to a nearby hospital for several injuries, police said. The truck driver did not sustain any injuries. RCPD shares 2025 click it or Ticket campaign results
Context: video aired May 20, 2025. MANHATTAN (KSNT) – The Riley County Police Department (RCPD) shared its arrest and citation information on Friday for its most recent Click it or Ticket campaign. The RCPD focused on seatbelts, texting and driving, impaired driving and other traffic laws during this year's enforcement campaign that ran from May 18 to June 2. The department reported that it issued the following: 42 speeding citations. 10 speeding citations. 10 texting while driving citations. 33 other citations and arrests. 128 vehicle stops during the campaign. RCPD Director Brian Peete participated in an interview on the 27 News Morning Show in May at the start of the campaign kicked off this year. He said his department had seen an increase in traffic accidents, including preventable accidents in Manhattan. Kansas court halts gender marker change restrictions 'So we have to crack down on those things,' Peete said on the 27 News Morning Show on May 20. 2 teens arrested for throwing fireworks into crowd, yelling slurs at Redwood City Pride event
(KRON) — Two 13-year-old boys are in custody for allegedly yelling homophobic slurs while throwing fireworks into a crowd at a Pride event that injured two adults, said the Redwood City Police Department. Bay Area woman caught using n-word in viral TikTok: 'I'm not racist' RCPD said the incident happened on Wednesday at the annual Pride event at Courthouse Square in downtown Redwood City. Police said they arrived at the location at 5:55 p.m., but both suspects had already fled the area. One of the two victims suffered minor injuries. Redwood City PD said a portion of the attack was captured on surveillance video. Both teenage suspects were released to the custody of the San Mateo County Youth Services Center. Man arrested in Manhattan on charges including attempted murder
MANHATTAN (KSNT) – Police arrested a 23-year-old man on a warrant in connection with an alleged attempted murder in Manhattan. Officers filed a report for an incident that happened around 12:45 a.m. on May 30 in Manhattan, according to the Riley County Police Department (RCPD). The RCPD listed a 33-year-old woman as the victim. A 23-year-old from Junction City was arrested on a warrant on the following charges: Attempted murder in the 1st degree. Aggravated intimidation of a witness/victim. Aggravated kidnapping. Aggravated domestic battery. Criminal threat. Domestic battery. Criminal damage to property. $1.9 billion CHIPS grant denied for Kansas The 23-year-old was issued a $500,000 bond and is confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of the report. CODI alert issued for missing 13-year-old girl: VSP
ROANOKE, Va. (WAVY) – Virginia State Police have issued a CODI alert for a missing 13-year-old girl on behalf of the Roanoke City Police Department (RCPD). Brooklyn Gloria Walker was last seen Sunday, around 8:45 a.m., on 17th Street SE in Roanoke. She is 4'11, 125 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.
