Teddi Mellencamp Gives New Health Update After Calling Out Her Doctors for Missing Her Melanoma Spreading

"Essentially, I haven't been feeling good for about a month, which was kind of shocking to me, and I think, mentally did a lot to me," she began. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum, 44, elaborated that she could barely open her eyes or "keep her words straight." She then revealed that she would be pausing immunotherapy treatment due to these side effects, as her team of doctors performed scans that showed her tumors were shrinking, with some "barely visible." "We're going to take a little break on the immunotherapy to get my body back feeling stronger," she said. Mellencamp also revealed that while her divorce filing from Edwin Arroyave stands, the proceedings remain on hold as she undergoes treatment. "I've never in my adult life been in a situation where I'm like, 'Gosh, I can't do this right now.' I can't stay up that extra hour and put my kid to bed tonight, I can't go to my daughter's horse show, or oh my gosh, I'm going to have to miss Cruz's practice. I've never once felt that way until recently, and it's heartbreaking," Mellencamp said of how her cancer journey has impacted her relationship with her three children, Slate, 12, Cruz, 10, and Dove, 5. Mellencamp explained that recapping episodes of RHOBH has been difficult for her as she undergoes treatment for her brain tumor, but that she is working to "shield" herself from memory loss. She then recounted a vulnerable moment before her July 17 interview with Glamour alongside fellow RHOBH star Kyle Richards. "That day, everybody was like, 'Oh my gosh, Teddy, you look so beautiful, you look so strong, you look like you're on top of the world,' " Mellencamp said. "And I remember that day lying up in a ball before going calling Kyle and Jen and going, 'If one of you guys don't pick me up, I can't even be in a car service. I'm too embarrassed, like I'm not doing well. I can't do this today." The health update on Two Ts in a Pod comes after Mellencamp called out her doctors for not performing scans on her earlier diagnosis of stage one melanoma when a patch of the cancer was discovered on her shoulder. He's demanding spousal support, and surely, it's not a coincidence that he recently got sued by a debtor over a large, unpaid business loan. According to an insider who spoke to The Sun, the news of the divorce hit Denise out of nowhere. He listed their date of separation as July 4. They were out together with friends just a few days prior. 'She never in a million years wanted to get another divorce, and she never in a million years thought he would do this to her,' the insider said. Notably, Denise literally said this very same thing on their Bravo show, Denise Richards & Her Wild Things. After her messy divorce from Charlie Sheen, she swore divorce would never happen to her again, but Aaron had other plans. The insider explained, 'It's a betrayal; he promised he would never do this. Aaron filed for divorce from Denise on July 7, 2025, and is requesting spousal support. Now, Denise is revealing some disturbing claims about Aaron's alleged violent interactions with her. RHOBH alum Denise Richards accuses husband Aaron Phypers of physical abuse and wants a restraining order In court papers obtained by TMZ, Denise wrote, 'Throughout our relationship, Aaron would frequently violently choke me, violently squeeze my head with both hands, tightly squeeze my arms, violently slap me in my face and head, aggressively slam my head into the bathroom towel rack.' In 2022, Denise alleged that Aaron badly bruised her eye after he 'became paranoid' that plants at his workplace 'contained listening devices.' Accoridng to Denise, he used the heel of his palm to strike her in the eye while calling her a 'f*cking bitch.' Along with the papers, Denise also provided photos showing her bruised face and bruises on her arms from a 2023 red carpet outing. She claimed that Aaron caused the injuries. And in an incident from early July, Aaron screamed at her to hand over the phone. When Denise threatened to call 911, Aaron allegedly said, 'I would like to see the cops take me away. I will blow everything up if they try.' In addition, Denise reported that Aaron has at least eight unregistered guns. As a result of her allegations, Denise was granted a temporary domestic violence restraining order. The restraining order will last through August 8, which is the next court date for the former couple.
