Alex Warren taps BLACKPINK star ROSÉ for On My Mind
Alex Warren and ROSÉ have released their surprise collaboration, On My Mind. The Ordinary hitmaker had been teasing fans about teaming up with the BLACKPINK star on his social media accounts and the pair have now delivered a swoon-worthy love ballad. The track is a new addition to Warren's album You'll Be Alright, Kid. Set for release on July 18, the collection features all of the tracks from the 24-year-old star's debut LP You'll Be Alright, Kid (Chapter 1) alongside newbies such as smash hit Ordinary and Bloodline with Jelly Roll. You'll Be Alright, Kid (Chapter 1) focused on "dealing with grief", while You'll Be Alright, Kid "turns the page with healing, resilience and optimism." February's Ordinary spent 11 consecutive weeks at No.1 on the UK chart, marking the longest running No.1 in the UK by a US male solo act in more than 70 years and the joint longest running No.1 of the 2020s, tied with Ed Sheeran's Bad Habits. On the viral success of the TikTok hit, Warren told Variety: 'I am so forever grateful for all the support and will never stop saying thank you. 'I wouldn't have any of this if it weren't for my fans, so I am so appreciative.' Recounting how quickly Ordinary came to fruition, he shared: 'We wrote 'Ordinary' in December last year, started teasing it in January, and released it in February. 'In the music industry, that's a crazy fast turnaround, but we did that because we knew immediately how good it was. I've never had a song so quickly 'click' and I just had to put it out as soon as possible.'

Winners announced for the 34th Seoul Music Awards
Seoul- After five months of unexpected delays, the 34th Seoul Music Awards was finally held in June 21st 2025 at the Inspire Arena in Incheon, South Korea. With powerful performances and unexpected wins from the powerful pop stars and soloists who attended the event, the night granted fans and artists alike an opportunity to celebrate some of South Korea's biggest musical achievements in the year of 2024. Highlights of this award ceremony included I-DLE, the group formerly known as (G)I-DLE winning their very first Daesang (Grand Prize) award. Making it the first time in 14 years a girl group to win the award. While the boy-group TXT winning 3 awards for Best Album, Best Song for their song Déjà vu and a Bonsang (Main Prize) along with other notable k-pop groups such as ENHYPHEN, G-DRAGON and BLACKPINK this year. BTS members managed to keep up their winning streak during this award ceremony, further cementing they're in the music industry as Jimin, a fellow member of BTS, received the Korean Wave Award for his role in promoting Korean culture to the rest of the world. While their famous girl-group counterpart BLACKPINK vocalist ROSÉ gained well-deserved praise and recognition for becoming the first female soloist to win a Bonsang at the music awards, all while she won an additional award in the World Best Artist Award Category for her latest album Rosie. As this year's awards ceremony draws to a close, all eyes are on the recent award winners as fans wait with bated breath for what comes next.

JENNIE Melts Down on ‘Hot Ones,' But Thinks BLACKPINK's Jisoo Would Crush the Spicy Challenge: Watch
JENNIE had a pretty rough time taking on the infamous Hot Ones challenge. During her appearance on the web series Thursday (June 19), the BLACKPINK star — who admitted early on that she doesn't eat spicy food — began the episode with optimism, but ended up crying for help and running tearful laps around the table after facing the fiery spate of wings. 'I don't like spicy food or anything to do with spice. If anything, I like things plain, but here I am, facing my fear.' And face it she did. Things got painfully intense as the 29-year-old powered through the spice-laden challenge, following in the footsteps of her BLACKPINK bandmates ROSÉ and LISA, who had previously braved the wings of death in past episodes. Between interview questions about her debut solo album, Ruby, songs she fought for on the project, the importance of skincare, hearing fans sing her lyrics at concerts, and being a hamster mom, the singer and rapper visibly unraveled with each increasingly scorching bite. 'I think I'm allergic to spice!' she said at one point. The heat hit a whole new level when JENNIE reached wing No. 8, featuring the notorious Da' Bomb hot sauce. 'This is no joke,' she said, desperately grabbing a napkin to fan herself. After taking a dramatic lap around the table, she reached for milk and ice cream while screaming in agony. 'I can't hear anymore,' she said, forcing a smile. 'God, help me!' After somewhat regaining her composure, Evans asked if JENNIE might be able to convince JISOO — the only BLACKPINK member who hasn't yet appeared on Hot Ones — to take on the challenge. '100%, because she is the one who taught me spicy and she's the other you,' JENNIE replied. 'Like she made me eat spicy food with her. Ever since we were trainees. So, I think [Jisoo] should come on this show. You're gonna love it.' Reflecting on her bandmates' appearances, she added, 'Whatever ROSÉ and LISA did, this is the real reaction.
