Akhil Bharatiya Prant Pracharak Baithak of RSS to take place between July 4 to July 6 in Delhi

NEW DELHI: The three-day-long Akhil Bharatiya Prant Pracharak Baithak of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) will take place between July 4 to July 6 at Keshav Kunj (Delhi) for deliberating upon organisational matters. The discussions will revolve around the progress and experiences of organisational work in various prants with Dangh's chief Mohan Bhagwat and other functionaries from across the country in attendance on the various 'karya vibhags'. The RSS has also decided to hold special programs with a focus on youth participation in view of the Shatabdi Varsh. The Sangh will also organise the Vishesh Samvad(Special Dialogue) events with Sarsanghchalak in four major cities, namely Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Bengaluru with distinguished members of society in attendance. Addressing the media on Thursday over the eve of a three-day meeting starting on Friday, RSS Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh Sunil Ambekar informed that since March, 100 Prashikshan Vargs (training camps) have been conducted across the country. Of these, 75 were for swayamsevaks below the age of 40, and 25 were for those between 40 and 60 years. He said that Sangh's all Sah-Sarkaryavahs (Joint General Secretaries), heads of karya vibhags, and Akhil Bharatiya Sangathan Mantris (All-India Organisational Secretaries) of 32 RSS-inspired organisations have arrived here to attend the meeting. 'During these training camps, various karya vibhags, including Seva Vibhag (Service Department), provided focused training. Swayamsevaks are also involved in sthaayi prakalp (permanent service projects), and actively participate in relief work during disasters. For instance, they contributed during the Puri Jagannath Rath Yatra and the Ahmedabad plane crash incident', he said.

Tired of too many ads? go ad free now The centenary year, which will mark 100 years of the RSS's founding, will be launched on October 2 with the Vijayadashami Utsav in Nagpur, where Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat will address volunteers. A series of programmes will follow across the country, including local shakha-level celebrations for 8-10 days, special youth outreach drives, and Grih Sampark Abhiyan, where volunteers will visit households for 20 days to distribute literature and engage with the public. RSS Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh Sunil Ambekar said on Thursday that all provinces have prepared plans for the centenary year, and these will be discussed in detail during the meeting. 'The 100 years theme is central to this baithak. The preparations by all prants will be reviewed, and guidance will be given on taking the message of the Sangh to all sections of society,' he said. The annual meeting, held after the summer training camps (prashikshan vargs), will also focus on organizational work, challenges in expanding to new areas, and adjustments needed in outreach strategies. This year, 100 training camps were conducted, mostly for students and volunteers under 40, along with 25 camps for those aged 40-60. Ambekar noted that a revised training pedagogy, introduced two years ago, was used for these camps. About 233 karyakartas, including Sah-Sarkaryavahs, department heads, and all-India organizational secretaries of 32 RSS-inspired affiliates, will participate in the deliberations, held under the guidance of Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat and Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now Discussions will also cover boudhik (intellectual) and sharirik (physical) activities, with a view to making necessary changes where required. The Sangh will also organize Samajik Sadbhav Baithaks (social harmony meetings) and Pramukh Nagarik Gosthis (prominent citizens' gatherings) at the district level post-October to deliberate on social issues, national priorities, and ways to promote harmony. 'There is growing enthusiasm among the youth to join the Sangh. Since April, 28,571 people have registered online expressing interest in becoming volunteers,' Ambekar said.
