Foreign warnings urge Iraqis to avoid escalation against US-Led Coalition
Shafaq News – Baghdad Several Iraqi politicians have received warning messages from international sources urging them not to support or facilitate attacks against the US-led Global Coalition forces, a security expert told Shafaq News on Thursday. Saif Raad, a security and strategic affairs analyst, said that beginning last Saturday, a select group of Iraqi political figures received text messages on their personal phones warning of serious consequences if any attacks were carried out against coalition troops operating in Iraq. According to Raad, the messages included statements such as: 'Warning to Iranian militias. Any attacks on coalition forces will be met with a swift and decisive response,' and 'Iranian militias continue to endanger Iraqis… do not become puppets in Iran's hands.' He added that the texts were followed by voice calls repeating similar warnings. The term 'Iranian militias' commonly refers to Iraqi armed factions aligned with or backed by Iran, many of which are part of the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF), an umbrella organization officially affiliated with the Iraqi state but composed of various groups with differing loyalties. Iraqi authorities have yet to issue any official response to the reported messages. These developments follow a wave of simultaneous drone attacks across multiple areas in Iraq — including Kirkuk, Baiji, Duhok, and al-Sulaymaniyah — as regional tensions intensified after a 12-day escalation between Iran and Israel. While no direct attacks were recorded on US military installations in Iraq during that period, US forces intercepted drones targeting the Ain al-Asad Air Base in al-Anbar Province. Despite their vocal support for Iran during the recent conflict, Iran-aligned Iraqi groups did not escalate their military posture significantly, maintaining a relatively restrained stance amid the regional standoff.

Hezbollah Celebrates Iran's Victory in Beirut: Israeli War Aimed at Controlling Entire Middle East
Head of Loyalty to Resistance parliamentary bloc in Lebanon, Hajj Mohammad Raad, the Islamic Republic is resistant to dependency, hegemony, and the confiscation of freedom of decision. Addressing Hezbollah ceremony held next to the Iranian embassy in Beirut to celebrate the victory of the Islamic Republic over the US-Zionist war, MP Raad indicated that the occupation entity wished it could impose hegemony over the entire Middle East by using its available capabilities. MP Raad affirmed that the Islamic Republic derived its strength from God alone, and He is the One who granted it victory, underlining the role of the courageous divine leader in reaching the victory. Hezbollah lawmaker also hailed the capable and brave armed forces in Iran, greeting the Iranian public which assumed responsibility during the war. MP Raad emphasized that Iran has become a regional force of deterrence, adding that its steadfastness bent the arm of the Zionist enemy. Meanwhile, MP Raad affirmed that 'this country is protected by its sons, not the sponsors of the Zionist aggression'. Palestine will be the central cause, and 'Israel' cannot survive in this region, MP Raad concluded. On June 13, 2025, the Israeli enemy started a barbaric war on the Islamic Republic of Iran under the pretext of eradicating its nuclear program. However, the Iranian Armed Forces bravely confronted the aggression and fired hundreds of ballistic missiles and combat drones, killing or injuring thousands of Israelis. The Iranian strikes also left 1100 homeless as it caused massive destruction in Tel Aviv, Haifa and other occupied cities.

Hezbollah celebrates Iran's victory with solidarity stand outside its embassy in Beirut
Beirut – Saba; Lebanon's Hezbollah celebrated Iran's victory over the "American-Zionist aggression" on Wednesday evening by organizing a massive solidarity stand outside the Iranian Embassy in Beirut. The event drew a large crowd of supporters and officials, including the Iranian Chargé d'Affaires, Tawfiq Al-Samoudi. Participants raised Lebanese and Iranian flags, along with resistance banners, chanting slogans emphasizing the unity of fronts against the Zionist project. They hailed Iran's steadfastness and its decisive response to the aggression, according to Hezbollah's Al-Manar website. Attendees affirmed that Iran's victory marked a pivotal moment in the conflict with the enemy, sending a clear message that the "Axis of Resistance" possesses the will and capabilities to deter any aggression and counterbalance the occupation and its allies. During the gathering, Mohammad Raad, head of the Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc in the Lebanese Parliament, stated that Iran achieved a strategic victory, proving itself as a regional deterrent force by standing firm against the Zionist enemy, which "must learn an unforgettable lesson." Raad emphasized that Iran refuses subordination, hegemony, or the confiscation of its sovereign decisions, pointing out that the Israeli entity seeks to impose its dominance over the Middle East using available resources. He highlighted three key factors behind Iran's victory: the presence of an inspiring and courageous leader, capable and brave armed forces, and the responsible Iranian people. Raad reiterated that Palestine remains the central cause and that the people of Gaza will avenge their martyrs. He stressed that Lebanon's protection comes not from Israel or its regional allies but from the blood of its people, lamenting the positions of some domestic partners that reflect Zionist allegiances. For his part, the Iranian Chargé d'Affaires in Beirut affirmed that Iran humiliated the "usurping entity" and its backers, forcing them to retreat without achieving their goals. He warned that Iran's strong hand "remains on the trigger," with a vigilant eye, and that any aggression would be met with a stronger, more decisive response.
