If your bank account survived the Nordstrom Half-Yearly Sale, I hate to break it to you, but something bigger and better is headed your way. Yes, I'm talking about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale—aka the retailer's biggest sale of the year—and if I were you, I would prepare to go all in on it. Speaking of preparing, Nordstrom just dropped a slew of preview deals across all categories (from fashion to beauty), so you can start building your wish list for the savings event right this minute. That way, when your sale tier opens (more info on that below), you won't have to waste any time browsing—and you will be ready to run to checkout before your items sell out. Just so you know, the sale opens to everyone on July 12 at 12:01 am ET and runs all the way through August 3, but Nordy Club members can get early access starting as soon as July 8. "How do I sign up," you ask? I'll get into those nitty-gritty details and everything else you need to know about the sale below—but first, find the 15 items that I (and, I imagine, almost every other Nordstrom shopper) have already added to my wish list in anticipation of the big kickoff. Want to know which buzzy products are *really* worth buying? Sign up for our shopping newsletter to uncover our favorite finds. Nordstrom Fun fact: Mother jeans are not only Meghan Markle-approved but they also have a thumbs-up from PureWow's royals expert, Rachel Bowie. Needless to say, I've been dying to pick up a pair of the brand's coveted jeans, so as soon as I found out that this beloved style will be included in the sale, I added them straight to my cart. Can you blame me? The cropped jeans are made of a soft and stretchy blend of cotton, lyocell, polyester and elastane, so they're sure to be as comfortable as they are flattering. $278; $186 at Nordstrom Nordstrom One former PureWow editor told me that these square-toe Mary Janes from Rothy's are some of the comfiest shoes she owns, so now that they're nearly $70 off, I'll definitely be picking up a pair for myself. And this deep burgundy hue? Perfection. Not to mention, they're made of a flexible knit fabric that's machine-washable, so keeping them looking as good as new should be no problem. $159; $90 at Nordstrom Nordstrom Another item my fellow PureWow editors are obsessed with? Barbour jackets—and this one's a whopping $145 off during the sale. I love that it has a longline cut that will easily pair with both jeans and dresses, and the removable hood makes it all the more versatile. Unlike some other styles from the brand, this waterproof Hebrides jacket is machine-washable, too, so there's no special upkeep involved. It comes in three colors, and features a full lining that will add some warmth when the fall weather hits. TBH, it sounds like my dream jacket, which is why I won't be skipping this deal. $425; $280 at Nordstrom Nordstrom This Natori Feathers bra seems to be everyone's favorite, and I can totally see why after reading former PureWow Associate Fashion Commerce Editor Stephanie Meraz's full review of it. "Between the soft feel of the fabric and the thin, lightweight padding that felt so malleable and non-suffocating on my skin, I almost forgot that I was even wearing a bra," she raved. A bra that feels barely-there and costs less than $50? Sign me up. From $68; $45 at Nordstrom Nordstrom Thick enough to work as a jacket but light enough to wear as a sweater, this Caslon style definitely deserves a spot in your cart. It comes in four different colors, including a nautical striped option that feels perfect for chilly summer nights and this pretty green that I could see myself wearing year-round. Another thing you should know is that it's made from 100 percent cotton, so it should feel completely breathable. Hundreds of shoppers already have their eyes on it, though, so make sure you add it to your cart or wish list now to be able to snag it right at the start of the sale. $109; $73 at Nordstrom Nordstrom PureWow readers and editors alike are obsessed with this rich-yet-lightweight face cream that left one editor's skin "radiant, blemish-free and so much more hydrated after just a few days of use," according to her review. And thanks to the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, you can snag it in a set alongside The Rich Eye Cream that was made to target your under-eyes and upper lids. The cult-fave formula uses groundbreaking stem cell technology, along with a proprietary blend of vitamins and amino acids, to support skin regeneration, per the brand. It's also chock full of other skin-loving ingredients, including low molecular weight hyaluronic acid, which helps provide plumping hydration. Basically, it's the ultimate recipe for a youthful glow. There's no denying it's a pricey investment for your skin, though, so don't skip the nearly $170 in savings on this set. $510; $342 at Nordstrom Nordstrom The Tencel/linen/cotton/elastane blend of these tapered Faherty pants is sure to feel so soft and airy that they'll quickly become your go-tos from now through fall. They have a stretchy pull-on waistband and an ankle-length cut that will work well with everything from sandals to flats or sneakers. Plus, plenty of shoppers confirm just how comfortable they are. "I love these pants! They are lightweight, flattering, and extremely comfortable. After I bought the blue pants I went back the next day and bought the black ones," shared one buyer. $148; $96 at Nordstrom Nordstrom It's not every day you can score $60 in savings on a new pair of Ugg booties, so if you're in the market for a new pair for fall, you'll want to grab these before they sell out. They have the brand's signature ultra-mini cut that makes them easy to slip on and off, and the shearling spillseam adds an extra touch of coziness to their look. Just note some reviewers say that they run small, so you might want to size up when you put your order in. $170; $110 at Nordstrom Nordstrom From the watercolor-like floral print to the all-cotton fabric, gold buttons and adjustable tie at the waist, there isn't anything I don't love about this shirtdress. It can certainly be dressed up for special occasions, but the fit also appears relaxed enough to wear for a casual day out, especially with the dropped shoulders that allow for plenty of movement. And that almost $60 discount? Yeah, that's just a bonus. $148; $90 at Nordstrom Nordstrom Both Kate Middleton *and* Meghan Markle have been spotted carrying Longchamp Le Pliage totes on multiple occasions, so it's safe to say the iconic style is a worthwhile buy. Even if it wasn't princess approved, though, I'd still have my eye on this coated canvas style for its rich burgundy color, structured construction and super spacious size that makes it great for everything from travel to the gym or the office. Plus, the zippered closure means my things will be secure inside as I head from place to place. Honestly, it's no wonder the royals are obsessed, and I have a feeling you will be, too. $250; $187 at Nordstrom Nordstrom I'm obsessed with Bombas socks, and for good reason. They have comfort down pat, and thanks to their built-in cushioned tabs, you don't have to worry about blisters. Intrigued yet? Well, wait until I tell you about their brilliant design: The socks are made from a soft, comfortable Supima cotton/polyester/nylon/elastane blend that I simply never want to take off. Seriously, my feet have never been happier since I made the switch, so I can't wait to stock up. Whether or not you're already a Bombas convert, it wouldn't be a bad idea to follow suit. (P.S. This mid-ankle style is included in the sale, too, for those who prefer a higher cut.) $78; $52 at Nordstrom Nordstrom IGK has been one of my go-to brands for hair styling products for years now, and some of my favorites just so happen to be included in this set that's going to be nearly half off during the sale. The 4-in-1 prep spray is a multi-tasking detangler that provides heat protection and frizz control (a must that's always stocked in my beauty cabinet), while the blowout balm has added ingredients like shea butter to make hair extra soft before, well, blowing it out. Also in this set is the Spirulina Protein Smoothing spray, which is a heat-activated smoothing formula that does wonders for my frizzy strands. All of this for just over $50 is a seriously good deal, so jump on it while you can. $100; $53 at Nordstrom Nordstrom This colorful long-sleeve top from Farm Rio is too good to miss out on, especially if you plan on bringing the boho trend into next season. It's made from a lightweight viscose fabric, so you can easily wear it now paired with shorts or a breezy skirt, then well into fall with jeans and a cardigan layered over top. The elastic cuff sleeves and ruffled neckline add such a cute touch that is sure to make it stand out from everything else in your closet. $180; $126 at Nordstrom Nordstrom I'm in the market for some new check-in luggage, so of course I have my eye on this totally functional design from Away. It's made with so many thoughtful features that will make packing and rolling it through the airport that much easier—from the 360-degree swivel wheels to multiple handles on the top, side and underside of the suitcase. And yes, the inside has multiple interior pockets, a compression board and a water-repellent laundry bag. What more could I ask for? Perhaps the carry-on size to match. (BTW, it's the brand's first time being included in the Anniversary Sale, so I'd expect these cases to sell fast.) $395; $296 at Nordstrom Nordstrom I've been meaning to try Drybar's hair styling tools forever because they're my mom's favorites, and now that this blow dry brush is more than $50 off, I'm taking it as my sign. The heat brush is designed to add volume to your hair while also keeping it frizz-free and lowering the time it takes to dry thanks to strategically placed vents (which alone makes it worth it, in my opinion). But in case you need more convincing, you'll want to hear what this reviewer had to say: "This thing is amazing. My hair is naturally super curly, and before I would have to shower, blow dry, straighten, then curl my hair. Now, I can just shower then towel dry, put in products, and use the double shot and it gives me amazing Duchess of Cambridge hair in less than 20 minutes. I would highly recommend this to ANYONE." Yeah, this one's coming home with me. $155; $104 at Nordstrom The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale begins on July 8 at 12:01 am ET for Nordy Club Icons and runs through August 3. Not an Icon member? Here's when you can start shopping, whether you're a Nordy Club member or not: BTW, there's still time to gain early access to the sale if you don't want to wait to shop—just keep reading. Signing up for The Nordy Club is pretty straightforward on the Nordstrom site. To note, there are two ways you can become a Nordy Club member: You can snag yourself a Nordstrom credit card to automatically gain Influencer status and get $40 off your next purchase, which means you can start shopping on July 10, or you can simply sign up for a free membership to start building up your points. Just note that free memberships don't guarantee early access to this year's sale. Cardmembers, meanwhile, do have access to more perks, like the ability to earn points per dollar on purchases at and outside of Nordstrom to achieve an even higher status at the retailer. It's up to you which route to take (card or no card), but with the card, you can get Influencer status today, guaranteeing your chance to shop early. The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is a once-a-year opportunity to score massive markdowns on new arrivals and staple favorites alike. If you ask me, it's up there as one of the best and biggest shopping events of the year, since you can stock up on items for e-ver-y season without totally breaking the bank. Just to put that into perspective, top brands like Augustinus Bader, Béis, New Balance and Mother went on sale for up to 70 percent off during last year's sale. And this year's bound to be even better. After scouring the preview deals, which include rare discounts on PureWow readers' go-to Natori Feathers bra and Mother The Hustler jeans, I'm already counting down the days. Which brings us to... You mean, what shouldn't you buy? Just kidding, but if I have to choose, I'd go for fashion deals on new arrivals you can score ahead of the fall season or big ticket items like hair tools or travel bags while they're on steep markdown. After all, this may be your best opportunity to score serious deals on sought-after products before Black Friday. Here are a couple of categories you'll definitely want to pay close attention to during the sale: Yes! There's no need to have or use a Nordstrom credit card when making purchases from the retailer during the 2025 Anniversary Sale. However, if you do have a credit card (or want to sign up and get $40 off your next purchase), you'll have some benefits like early access to the sale (you'll automatically be at Influencer status as part of the Nordy Club, meaning you can shop starting July 10), credits for in-store alterations, an extra 5 percent off at Nordstrom Rack and more. The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale has finally arrived, and as far as deals go, our editors always keep an eye out for whenever Doona is on sale—especially when it comes to the Doona Liki S3 Trike ($280; $210). This popular stroller converts into a tricycle, and it's garnered such a fan following that I'm convinced it's going to sell out quickly. So, if you aren't a Nordy Club member already to access the sale, now's the time to join. Want to know which buzzy products are *really* worth buying? Sign up for our shopping newsletter to uncover our favorite finds. In case you don't know, the official sale kicks off for everybody on July 12, but you can start shopping earlier, depending on your membership tier level. Here's how that breaks down: Icons: Shop from July 8 through July 11 Ambassadors: Shop from July 9 through July 11 Influencers: Shop from July 10 through July 11 Everyone (including non-members): Shop from July 12 through August 3 Not only is the Doona Liki S3 Trike celebrity-approved, it's also loved by our editors, who first reviewed it in 2020. At the time, Rachel Bowie, PureWow's senior director of special projects and royals, wrote, "This convertible piece is designed for use from 10 months to three years old. You start off with 'parent mode' (10 to 18 months) or 'push mode' (10 to 24 months), which allows you to lock the pedals and steer, as you would a stroller, with your child still feeling like they're the one in control." She added: "Next comes 'tricycle mode.' This was my son's first tricycle experience. Yes, he's two (aka ready for 'tricycle mode'), but I was a touch nervous, so we eased into things. He loved it the minute he sat down, even though he wasn't the one in control…yet. Speaking of control, from the parent perspective, that's the number one perk; The steering system gives it the feel of a traditional (easy-to-push) stroller." Five years later, Bowie still can't stop talking about it, raving, "I'd say that the best thing about is it truly the lifespan and flexibility —the fact that it can go from a stroller with mom or dad pushing to a tricycle-style experience where the child is totally independent makes it a great investment. I also like that even though a parent is pushing, there is still some autonomy for the kid (i.e., they're at the 'wheel'). During my test, I was also impressed by how smooth the ride was in every format. And it comes with a sun cover and storage, too." Nordstrom This convertible trike is a great entertainment and learning system for your little one. Not only can they feel like big kids riding around on a bike, but they can learn how to pedal and steer all by themselves. And with the price currently slashed by $70, there is no better time than now to pick one up. $280; $210 at Nordstrom The Babycook Neo Is Efficient and Easy to Use—but Is the Baby Food Maker Worth the Splurge? King Charles Is Headed to North America—But Will He Meet with Son Prince Harry?

Prince Harry has made countless headlines after stepping down as a senior royal, from his controversial memoir and legal battle over security to his tell-all interview with the BBC. The royal has since been candid about how these events led to a rift with his family, especially his father, King Charles. But now that the monarch is planning a visit to North America, royal fans can't help but wonder if the father-son duo will have an opportunity to reconnect. On Instagram, His Majesty and Queen Camilla announced that they will travel across the pond next week for a visit to Canada, which means they will briefly be on the same continent as Harry, who currently resides in California with his family. Given that the two haven't seen each other in over a year, could this mean that King Charles will make time to check in on his son? According to PureWow's resident royal expert, Rachel Bowie, it's very unlikely. Samir Hussein/Samir Hussein/WireImage "I think it's highly doubtful we'll see King Charles reunite with Prince Harry during his visit to Canada this month," Bowie said. "For one thing, Ottawa is thousands of miles from Montecito—if the pair couldn't coordinate a meet-up while Harry was in London for recent events like the WellChild Awards or the 10-year anniversary of the Invictus Games, both last year, I don't see this being the moment where they finally have a chance to reconnect." Referencing Prince Harry's emotional remarks during his chat with BBC, she added, "Harry's BBC interview is still very much top of mind for the world, but I'm sure especially for Charles. Harry wants a royal reconciliation, but for Charles, there's a continued lack of trust. I'd be thrilled to see them figure out a way to meet—and Canada would be the perfect neutral ground—but given the brevity of the king and queen's trip and everything else we know, I think it's very unlikely." In case you need a refresher on the recorded interview, the duke opened up about his strained relationship with the king and discussed his desire to reconcile. Harry said, "I would love reconciliation with my family. There's no point in continuing to fight anymore. Life is precious. I don't know how much longer my father has. He won't speak to me because of this security stuff, but it would be nice to reconcile." While the prince has been candid about the state of their relationship in past interviews, King Charles has not addressed this publicly. It may feel like a stretch to predict a happy reunion between the two royals in North America, but here's hoping this painful rift doesn't stretch on for much longer. Duchess Sophie Steps Out in Chic Floral Dress & It's From a Brand Beloved by Kate Middleton

As of late, Duchess Sophie never puts a foot out of step when it comes to her sartorial selects. Enter her most recent ensemble—a dress paired with a blazer—worn for a visit to Barleylands Farm Park & Village in Billericay, England. I did a double take when I saw it because it was the very same ME+EM Wild Bloom-Print Woven Maxi Dress ($495) I tried on for a story earlier this month. What makes this look particularly fresh? Florals for spring aren't exactly groundbreaking, but in a maxi length style and with a peek-a-boo keyhole neckline, they feel vibrant and fresh. The pale blue backdrop that the wild blooms are set against also helps—the dress feels earthy, but also bright. I can attest from my own try-on experience, the fit is impeccable and petite-friendly, though most ME+EM styles come with extra fabric should any style need to be lengthened or adjusted. (I also especially love the ever-so-slight shoulder poof—and Sophie's decision to pair it with a blazer that she can take on and off.) Rachel Bowie As for the brand, ME+EM is beloved by more than just the Duchess of Edinburgh. Kate Middleton, Princess Beatrice, even Queen Camilla regularly reach for the U.K. based designer. Now, the bad news: The Wild-Bloom Print is near sold out on the site, but that doesn't mean you can't find alternatives. Here, a couple more that fit the royal bill. ME+EM Snag Sophie's exact same look before it fully sells out. $495 at ME+EM ME+EM The florals—in lace form—are more subtle, but the fit (and keyhole detail) is the same. $595 at ME+EM ME+EM The backdrop features a lighter hue, but the blooms are equally wild. $495 at ME+EM Duchess Sophie Stuns in Black & White Florals—and It's the Perfect Spring Occasion Wear

Is the Doona Car Seat & Stroller Worth It? Here's My Honest Review

All prices are accurate upon date of publish. You can learn more about the affiliate process here. You can learn more about that process here. Value: 18/20 Functionality: 19/20 Portability: 20/20 Aesthetic: 18/20 Safety: 20/20 Total: 95/100 A funny thing happens when you're gearing up to have a baby: Parents come out of the woodwork to dispense unsolicited advice. Tips about sleep training? I'll pass. But give me a tried-and-true product recco and I'm all ears. That's how I came to learn about the Doona Car Seat and Stroller combo. After all, I had my first child seven years ago. Ahead of welcoming my now six-month-old, I quickly discovered: Baby gear has changed quite a bit in that time. The Rock n' Play? Recalled! The Snoo? Was only just getting buzzy! But Doona, it seems, was the biggest innovation. And Doona parents, it turned out, were extremely impassioned. The first was my cousin. His son arrived nine months before mine and, while not always verbose about baby stuff, he imparted one piece of wisdom. Get the Doona, it's a game-changer. Next, one of my best friends, who was pregnant with a third: I'm splurging on a Doona this time around. Everyone I know raves about it. The final endorsement came during a shopping trip to IKEA. New Yorkers tend to keep to themselves, but a particularly gruff woman held the elevator for me as I waddled up to it, then couldn't help herself: The Doona stroller—ahem, the one she was currently pushing—will save you. (You don't have to tell me thrice, I thought!) So, I put the stroller/car seat combo to the test, right out of the gate—installing the base in my car and toting the car seat to the hospital where I was induced last October. If that's not a sink or swim moment for testing a product, I don't know what is. Here's my honest review. One of my most vivid early parenthood moments was when I transferred my oldest son from the stroller to the car seat for the drive home from the hospital. He fell asleep in the stroller as we toted him out, but then—as I was relocating him to the car seat—I bopped him on the nose and all hell broke loose. (In other words, he started wailing and as a first-time parent, I felt like a failure.) Not so with the genius Doona which is basically a car seat with collapsible wheels, allowing it to go from a safe and comfortable system of transport for babies (between 4 and 35 pounds) to a compact stroller in one fluid motion. A full-handed push of a button on the back and simple circular motion is all you need for the wheels to pop down or retract. It snaps easily into a secure base already installed in the car and off you go. If baby is snoozing, no disruption required. Rachel Bowie My cousin, bestie and that random lady in the IKEA elevator were all right: This stroller is a two-for-one design that's not only a game-changer, I swear it helps increase the amount my baby sleeps, as was evidenced when I toted my three-month-old from Brooklyn to the Guggenheim by car. Within seconds of the approximately 40-minute drive, my son nodded off. I found a metered spot, unclipped the Doona and seamlessly (and quietly) expanded the wheels. Minutes later, I had paid the entrance fee, then rolled my sleeping baby around and around a special exhibit about Orphism in Paris…all without him waking up. When I was done, it was back to the car where, once again, I retracted the wheels and drove off. When we got home? He was still asleep! Rachel Bowie The weight (just over 17 pounds) puts it slightly above your average car seat, though I've never found it too cumbersome. And it adjusts to baby's growing size with straps that you can toggle with a button at the bottom center. (Unlike other car seats, you don't have to remove your child from the seat itself in order to change the size.) There's also an included newborn insert and since it's approved up to 35 pounds or 32 inches—whichever comes first—you can typically use it until a kid is 18 months. (Note, it does not convert to front-facing.) I also tested this car seat without its base in a cab on-the-go, by using the car's seatbelt and following the online instructions. It even handled a bit of spring off-roading (see photo above) at my local botanic garden. As for safety, It has a five-star safety rating in frontal collision tests—based on over 100 crash tests—and meets the strictest U.S. and E.U. safety standards for car seats, strollers and hand-held carriers. When installed in the car seat base, you lower the handle of the stroller so it rests against the back of the regular seat, giving the car seat additional anti-rebound protection to minimize impact. Additionally, it comes with a five-point harness for clipping baby in and uses materials that are free from hazardous chemicals. (The seat cover is also machine washable.) In my book, there are three: For one thing, it does take a couple of practice runs to figure out how to collapse the wheels; Extending them is easier for some reason. Secondly, there's the lack of sun shade: The shade that comes included doesn't offer much in terms of protection, and only lowers to cover baby up to his nose (or chin if you're lucky), meaning I often have to bring a swaddle to keep my son protected. Finally, the undercarriage doesn't include a space for storage. (How could it since the wheels have to collapse?) I bought a stroller hook to hold my bag and the problem was solved, but snap on storage is available for an extra cost should you require it. Rachel Bowie Minor flaws aside, this two-for-one car seat stroller increased my efficiency as a parent and, quite frankly, made newborn life easier. I still feel grateful six months later and get pangs of joy when my older son takes the helm pushing his brother. Most of all, I love that it keeps my baby safe and snuggly on both walks and drives. After all, with young kids, mobility is empowering. $600 at Bloomingdales Postpartum and Still Running—Here's Why
