Foreign Minister holds talks in Brussels with European Commission Vice President over common issues
Minister of Foreign Minister and Emigrants Youssef Rajji discussed with European Commission Vice President Kaja Kallas, during his talks with her in Brussels, common issues between Lebanon and the European Union. Minister Raggi requested the European Union's assistance in pressuring Israel to withdraw from the five points and the rest of the occupied territories in southern Lebanon. Raggi also focused on the EU's auxiliary role in the dossier of the renewal of the UNIFIL peacekeeping force mandate. The Lebanese Foreign Minister also discussed with the European official the Lebanese government's decision regarding arms monopoly and affirmed that it "is proceeding with economic, financial, judicial, and administrative reforms," stressing the "need for the European Union to support Lebanon." He also presented the Lebanese government's plan to address the issue of displaced Syrians and the importance of their return to their homeland.

Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants Youssef Rajji received a phone call from his Greek counterpart, George Gerapetritis, during which the pair discussed recent regional developments. Gerapetritis conveyed Greece's full support for Lebanon across all levels and extended an official invitation for Minister Raggi to visit Athens. In turn, Minister Raggi thanked his counterpart and requested Greece's assistance—drawing on its current membership in the UN Security Council—to help secure Israel's withdrawal from five disputed points along the southern border and to support efforts toward the renewal of the UNIFIL mandate.

Rajji discusses southern tensions, bilateral ties with UK Ambassador
Foreign Minister Youssef Rajji met with British Ambassador to Lebanon Hamish Cowell for talks on the political and economic situation in Lebanon and ways to enhance bilateral relations. The meeting addressed the escalating tensions in southern Lebanon amid continued Israeli aggression, as well as the expected renewal of the UNIFIL mandate. Both sides stressed the importance of maintaining the peacekeeping force's role. Discussions also touched on the UK's assistance in securing Lebanon's eastern border through surveillance towers deployed along the frontier with Syria. In turn, Minister Raggi welcomed the decision by US President Donald Trump to lift sanctions on Syria, following mediation by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, noting its potential positive impact on Lebanon, especially regarding the return of Syrian refugees. Raggi also received MP Hagop Pakradounian, with whom he discussed recent domestic developments. Pakradounian raised the case of Lebanese-Armenian citizen Viken Oljikjian, detained in Azerbaijan since November 2020, and urged continued efforts by the ministry to secure his release.
