IRCON JV secures project worth Rs 755.78 cr

IRCON International has been awarded with Letter of Award for the project floated by Rail Vikas Nigam (RVNL) (Participated in this bid in JV mode with M/s JPWIPL (i.e., IRCON 70% & JPIWL 30%). The project entails the construction of Roadbed, Minor Bridges, Buildings, Installation of Track (Excluding Supply of Rails, Sleeper & Thick Web Switches), and other Civil Engineering and General Electrical Works in connection with New BG Railway Line Between Pipaliya Nankar (Excl.) Budni (Incl.) Stations (Chainages 129.000 198.000 Km) in Indore-Budni section of Bhopal Division West Central Railway in Madhya Pradesh State, India. The estimated project cost is Rs 755.78 crore.

RVNL edges higher after securing Rs 447 crore contract from Delhi Metro

Rail Vikas Nigam advanced 1.35% to Rs 387.50 after the company announced that it has received a letter of acceptance (LOA) from the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation for a project valued at Rs 447.42 crore. The contract, identified as D2C-02, involves the part design and construction of a 7.298-kilometer viaduct. This viaduct will span from chainage 1202.782m to chainage 8501.25m. The project also includes the construction of seven station platforms (Pushp Vihar, Saket District Court, Pushpa Bhawan, Chirag Delhi, GK-1, Andrews Ganj, and Lajpat Nagar), along with pre-engineered building structures at all stations along the Lajpat Nagar to Saket G Block corridor. This work is part of the Delhi MRTS Phase-IV Project, the company stated. The project has to be completed within a period of 36 months. Rail Vikas Nigam is in the business of executing all types of railway projects, including new lines, doubling, gauge conversion, railway electrification, metro projects, workshops, major bridges, construction of cable-stayed bridges, institution buildings, etc. The company reported a 4.05% decrease in consolidated net profit to Rs 459.15 crore in Q4 FY25 as against Rs 478.56 crore posted in Q4 FY24. Revenue from operations slipped 4.27% YoY to Rs 6,426.88 crore in the quarter ended 31 March 2025.

The cost of the project is Rs 447.42 crore.

Rail Vikas Nigam (RVNL) has been awarded a letter of acceptance (LoA) by the South Central Railway for a significant project valued at Rs 213.22 crore. The contract encompasses the design, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of an overhead equipment (OHE) upgradation project. This involves converting the existing 1x25kV system to a 2x25kV feeding system, including associated feeder and earthing works. The scope of work covers the Duvvada-Rajahmundry and Samalkot-Kakinada Port sections of the Vijayawada Division, falling under South Central Railway. The total length of the project spans 195.5 track kilometers (RKM) / 391 equivalent track kilometers (TKM). The domestic contract has to be executed within a period of 24 months. Rail Vikas Nigam is in the business of executing all types of railway projects, including new lines, doubling, gauge conversion, railway electrification, metro projects, workshops, major bridges, construction of cable-stayed bridges, institution buildings, etc. The company reported a 4.05% decrease in consolidated net profit to Rs 459.15 crore in Q4 FY25 as against Rs 478.56 crore posted in Q4 FY24. Revenue from operations slipped 4.27% YoY to Rs 6,426.88 crore in the quarter ended 31 March 2025. The scrip shed 0.81% to end at Rs 381.55 on the BSE on Friday.

RVNL bags Rs 143 cr LoA from Southern Railway for traction system upgrade in Tamil Nadu

Rail Vikas Nigam (RVNL) said that it has received a letter of award (LoA) from Southern Railway for upgrading the electric traction system in Salem Division, Tamil Nadu. The order involves upgradation of the electric traction system from 1x25 kV to 2x25 kV on the Salem Junction (SA) Podanur Junction (PTJ) and Irugur (IGU) Coimbatore Junction (CBE) Podanur Junction (PTJ) routes under the Salem division of Southern Railway. The project aims to enhance capacity and support a 3,000 MT loading target. The cost of work is Rs 143.37 crore, and it will be executed within 24 months. The promoter/promoter group/group companies have no interest in the entity that awarded the contract. The order does not fall under related party transactions. Rail Vikas Nigam is in the business of executing all types of railway projects, including new lines, doubling, gauge conversion, railway electrification, metro projects, workshops, major bridges, construction of cable-stayed bridges, institution buildings, etc. The company reported a 4.05% decrease in consolidated net profit to Rs 459.15 crore in Q4 FY25 as against Rs 478.56 crore posted in Q4 FY24. Revenue from operations slipped 4.27% YoY to Rs 6,426.88 crore in the quarter ended 31 March 2025. The scrip rose 0.18% to settle at Rs 391.35 on Friday, 4 July 2025.
