Rajasthan Board answer sheets mishandled, four teachers suspended
The Rajasthan Education Department has suspended four teachers for gross negligence in handling answer sheets of the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE), citing serious lapses in confidentiality and evaluation protocol. The suspensions were ordered late Monday by Ashish Modi, Director of the Education Directorate, Bikaner, following reports of mismanagement during the ongoing evaluation process. Two of the suspended teachers are from Alwar district, while the other two are from the Didwana-Kuchaman area in Nagaur district of the state. In Alwar, Omprakash Gai Saini, a senior mathematics teacher at Government Higher Secondary School, Railway Station, reportedly left RBSE Secondary Examination answer sheets unattended in front of interns during evaluation. Meanwhile, Meenakshi Arora, a Hindi literature teacher at the same school, allegedly photographed the open answer sheets and circulated them to media outlets. Both Saini and Arora have been suspended with immediate effect for breach of confidentiality and dereliction of duty. Saini will no longer evaluate answer sheets for the next three years. During their suspension, they have been attached to the District Education Officer's (DEO) office in Alwar. In a separate case in Nagaur district, Bhanvruddin, a senior Sanskrit teacher at Government Higher Secondary School, Bagot (Didwana-Kuchaman), enlisted the help of his colleague Pradeep Kumar Sharma of Government Higher Secondary School, Nimbari (Makrana), to fill in marks on answer sheets. Shockingly, Sharma also involved his father in the process. Both Bhanvruddin and Sharma have been suspended with immediate effect for compromising the integrity of the evaluation process. They have been attached to the DEO office in Nagaur during the suspension period. The Education Department reiterated the importance of confidentiality, transparency, and accountability in the board examination system and warned that stringent action would continue against any violations.

Rajasthan Education Dept Website Hacked, Defaced With Message On Abhinandan, Pahalgam Attack
The Rajasthan Education Department's website was hacked and defaced with a mocking message about Abhinandan Varthaman's 2019 capture and the Pahalgam terror attack. The official website of the Rajasthan education department was hacked on Tuesday, displaying a message mocking the Indian government over the 2019 capture of Indian Air Force officer Abhinandan Varthaman by Pakistan. The hackers defaced the homepage with the provocative message and also posted objectionable content referencing the recent Pahalgam terror attack. As soon as the breach was detected, Rajasthan Education Minister Madan Dilawar instructed the department's IT team to restore the website without delay. The site has since been temporarily taken offline to facilitate a complete restoration to its original state. 'The department has alerted cyber security agencies, and a detailed investigation has begun to identify the perpetrators behind the cyber attack and assess the extent of the potential data compromise," said Dilawar. He added that, so far, no evidence of sensitive data leakage has emerged. However, the entire system is undergoing a comprehensive audit to ensure security and integrity. Earlier in the day, the homepage of the compromised site displayed the message 'Fantastic Tea Club Pakistan Cyber Force," along with disturbing content referencing the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam, which claimed the lives of 26 people, most of whom were tourists. The message appears to be a deliberate attempt to mock India by bringing up the 2019 incident involving Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman. During a dogfight in February 2019, Varthaman's MiG-21 Bison was shot down by Pakistan after it violated Indian airspace in an attempt to strike military installations in Jammu and Kashmir. This move was in retaliation to India's air strike on Jaish-e-Mohammed's largest terror training facility in Balakot, Pakistan. The IAF officer was captured and held in Pakistan for over two days before being returned to India. The Pakistani military had released multiple videos of him in custody. In one of the clips, the officer was seen composed and calm, sipping tea and responding courteously to questions — including one about the tea, to which he famously replied, 'The tea is fantastic." Authorities continue to investigate the breach while efforts to fully restore and secure the education department's website remain underway.

'Pakistani' hackers deface Rajasthan govt website, message claims Pahalgam attack was an 'inside job'
NEW DELHI: The official website of the Rajasthan Education Department was hacked on Tuesday, with objectionable content uploaded related to the 22 April terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, where 26 people, mostly tourists, were killed. The hackers also displayed a message mocking the Indian establishment over the 2019 capture of Indian Air Force officer Abhinandan Varthaman by Pakistan. The inflammatory posts appeared on the homepage of the website. In one of the posts, the hackers, identifying themselves as members of the " Pakistan Cyber Force ", made inflammatory remarks targeting India and referenced the recent Pahalgam attack. The message claimed the incident was an "inside job" and contained threatening language, stating: "You lit the fire. Now brace for the meltdown. Next hit won't be with bullets- it'll be Bytes. The tea is fantastic. No boarders. No warning. No mercy." Following the breach, Rajasthan education minister Madan Dilawar instructed the department's IT wing to restore the website as a matter of urgency. The site has since been temporarily taken offline to facilitate restoration to its original state. 'The department has informed the relevant cyber security agencies, and an investigation has been launched to identify the group behind the attack and assess the extent of the data breach,' Dilawar stated. He added that, although no sensitive data leaks have been confirmed at this stage, a comprehensive audit of the system is currently underway. Earlier in the day, the homepage of the hacked site displayed a message titled 'Fantastic Tea Club Pakistan Cyber Force' alongside inflammatory content regarding the Pahalgam terror attack. The message appeared to mock the Indian government by referencing the capture of Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman during a military confrontation in February 2019. Varthaman's MiG-21 Bison aircraft was downed during an aerial dogfight after Pakistani jets crossed the Line of Control (LoC), attempting to target Indian military installations in retaliation for India's air strike on a major Jaish-e-Mohammed training camp in Pakistan. He was captured and held for over two days before being returned to India. During his brief captivity, the Pakistani military released videos of the officer, including one in which he was seen calmly drinking tea and responding to questions famously stating, 'The tea is fantastic.' The cyber attack is being taken seriously by both state and central authorities, with investigations continuing to track down those responsible and ensure the integrity of official systems.
