Bigg Boss Star Khanzaadi Visits Jaipur For The First Time: ‘It Is Such A Beautiful Place'

Last Updated: Since it was a work-related trip and Khanzaadi could not explore as much as she wanted to, she wants to return to Jaipur soon. Firoza Khan, aka Khanzaadi, recently checked something off her bucket list—her very first trip to Jaipur! The rapper-singer, absolutely smitten by the Pink City, explored the majestic beauty of Amber Fort and also fed fish in the Maota Lake. Besides, she made sure to savour the Rajasthani cuisine and even slipped into a traditional Rajputi poshak. Talking about her recent visit to Jaipur, Khanzaadi also revealed that she indulged in local delicacies like gatte ki sabzi and laal maas. The former Bigg Boss contestant told Times Of India, 'I tried living the life of a Rajasthani for a day, and it was quite fun. It was my first trip to Jaipur, and I've been wondering why I never came here before. This is such a beautiful city to explore." Before visiting the city, Khanzaadi had a completely different image of the city in her mind. She said, 'Socha tha, yahan registaan hoga, banjaare honge aur dekhne ko kuch khaas nahi hoga, but it's such a beautiful place. It truly represents India, with so much history and culture to offer." Since it was a work-related trip and the rapper could not explore as much as she wanted to, she wants to return to the city soon. Her wishlist? A camel ride and much-hyped dal-baati churma. Khanzaadi started making waves with MTV Hustle and later shot to fame with her appearance in Bigg Boss Season 17. Reflecting on her journey, she said, 'When I entered MTV Hustle, I was a rapper but had no idea about my potential as a singer and performer. Thanks to judges like Badshah and King Rocco, who motivated me to hone my skills." As for Bigg Boss, she added that the reality show gave her exposure like never before. 'I entered with just 2,000 followers and came out with over a million. I didn't realise how big my fan base had become until after the show." Khanzaadi added. Although the show has ended, the strong bonds she formed in the Bigg Boss house are still intact. Her friendship with Ankita Lokhande and Abhishek has lasted beyond the show and they are often seen celebrating birthdays and special occasions together. Talking about her bond with them, the rapper noted that she shares a warm bond with Karan Veer Mehra, Ankita and Abhishek and they even celebrated her birthday together recently. I tried living like a Rajasthani for a Day: KhanZaadi

Firoza Khan aka KhanZaadi Firoza Khan, fondly known as KhanZaadi, was recently on her maiden trip to Jaipur. Mesmerised by the beauty of the Pink City, KhanZaadi not only explored the Amber Fort, but also enjoyed feeding fish in the Maota Lake, got dressed in a Rajputi poshak, and relished gatte ki sabzi. She shares, "I tried living the life of a Rajasthani for a day, and it was quite fun. It was my first trip to Jaipur, and I've been wondering why I never came here before. This is such a beautiful city to explore. Before coming to Jaipur, I had a very different picture of the city. Socha tha, yahan registaan hoga, banjaare honge aur dekhne ko kuch khaas nahi hoga, but it's such a beautiful place. It truly represents India, with so much history and culture to offer." 'Loved gatte ki sabzi' Since it was a work-related trip, she didn't get much time to explore the city and wants to return soon. "I want to come back and enjoy a camel ride, which looks very fascinating to me. Despite hearing a lot about dal-baati churma, I couldn't try it. I did get to eat gatte ki sabzi and laal maas. I'd love to return to experience more touristy things and explore this colourful city further." Firoza Khan aka KhanZaadi On her television journey The rapper and singer began her journey on Indian television with the reality show MTV Hustle, and later made a mark with her participation in Bigg Boss Season 17. She received rave reviews for her performance in the show. "Both shows gave me life lessons, teaching me to become a better version of myself. When I entered MTV Hustle, I was a rapper but had no idea about my own potential as a singer and performer. Thanks to judges Badshah and King Rocco, who motivated me to hone my skills and showcase my talent. Bigg Boss took me into every Indian household. When I entered the house, I barely had 2,000 followers on social media, and came out with over a million. It was only after the show that I realised how big my fan base had become. There were moments when I went through emotional breakdowns inside the house, but eventually, it made me stronger. It taught me to never doubt myself, no matter what life throws at you. You just need to be ready for every opportunity that comes your way and make the best of it." On her friendships with Bigg Boss contestants Her camaraderie with housemates Ankita Lokhande and Abhishek has always been a talking point. Sharing more about her bond with them, she adds, "I made a lot of friends in the Bigg Boss house, and I'm still in touch with a few of them, including Karanveer, Ankita and Abhishek. Recently, we all got together to celebrate my birthday and had a blast."

Vances have an immersive Raj experience at Amber Fort

Jaipur: Bejewelled elephants, folk artistes draped in traditional Rajputi and Kalbelia dresses, and musicians, along with vibrant rangolis, created a ceremonial atmosphere as they greeted US Vice President JD Vance , his wife Usha, and their three children – Ewan, Vivek, and Mirabel – Tuesday morning at the Amber Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage site . Inside the 16th-century hill fort, the Vances visited Mansingh Mahal, Sheesh Mahal, Khush Niwas, and Diwan-e-Aam, spending almost an hour and a half before heading back to their hotel in the city, 11km away. At the fort, chief minister Bhajan Lal Sharma and deputy CM Diya Kumari welcomed the Vances amidst a vibrant air of the welcome drum beating and melodious sound of the shehnai. As they walked on the red carpet to the fort, folk artistes performing Ghoomar, Kalbelia, and Kachi Ghodi dances welcomed them. The Vice President paused and took his time to thank them graciously. Madan Singh Shekhawat, one of the three tour guides assigned to escort the family during the visit, said, "Most visitors, including the state dignitaries, to Amber Fort complete the tour in an hour. But JD Vance and his family spent 1.30 hours, which showed that they liked the experience." Vance, along with his children, spent time with the caparisoned elephants Chanda and Pushpa, as they welcomed them. Shekhawat said Vance explained about the elephants to his curious sons. "As the elephants welcomed them with their gestures, Vance took quite a few minutes to have a better look at the animal and explain about it to his sons. He was seen answering a few queries from both children as well," said Shekhawat. Inside the fort, he was welcomed by folk artists playing instruments like Ravanhatta (a stringed instrument), shehnai, and flutes. Officials accompanying the VP in the fort said he seemed to have liked the Sheesh Mahal the most as he spent more time there. "It seemed as if he knew everybody as he waved to and thanked everybody while leaving," Shekhawat said.
