He also expressed anticipation for the announcement of new collaborative revealed that Bahrain is preparing to launch several media initiatives, including the second edition of the Al Dana Drama Award, scheduled for mid-next month, which will spotlight outstanding Gulf drama noted the significant progress witnessed in drama production across the Noaimi highlighted the growth of Emirati drama in recent years, which has become evident through the high quality of works participating in both Gulf and Arab festivals, including Danat. Information Ministry Unveils Commentary Star Competition to Nurture Bahraini Sports Commentators
Manama: The Ministry of Information, in collaboration with Tumooh Sport Management and Gulf University, has inaugurated Commentary Star, Bahrain's first national competition dedicated to identifying and nurturing Bahraini talent in sports commentary. This initiative is part of the Creators Lab and the Media Talents Award, and is being organised by Bahrain Sports Channel. According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Ramzan bin Abdulla Al Noaimi, Minister of Information, highlighted the ministry's dedication to empowering Bahraini youth in sports media. This effort is backed by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. Registration for the competition is open from May 5 to 20, with ten episodes scheduled for recording and broadcast beginning in September. Participants will be judged by a specialised jury. The winner of the competition will secure a commentary position with Bahrain Sports Channel, receive a full scholarship from Gulf University, and be awarded a financial prize. The top two participants will also be granted monetary prizes and will undergo intensive training. The competition is designed to foster national talent and contribute to the advancement of sports media in Bahrain.

Information Minister Engages with BJA President to Enhance Bahrain's Journalistic Sector
Manama: Dr. Ramzan bin Abdulla Al Noaimi, Minister of Information, welcomed Isa Al Shaiji, President of the Bahrain Journalists Association (BJA), to discuss strategies for bolstering cooperation between the Ministry and the Association to support Bahrain's journalistic sector. According to Bahrain News Agency, the minister praised the support provided to national journalism by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the continued backing of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. He emphasized that this royal support is central to the development and progress of Bahrain's media landscape. Dr. Al Noaimi acknowledged the significant role of the Bahrain Journalists Association over the past 25 years in promoting professional journalism and supporting national media professionals. He noted the association's involvement as a vital partner in the Kingdom's comprehensive development, led by His Majesty the King. The Journalist of the Year award will be presented to a media figure who has made a significant impact on the Bahraini press landscape.
