S. Korea's Wildfires Death Toll Jumps to 28

The death toll from the destructive wildfires in southeastern South Korea jumped to 28. In addition, 37 were injured, including nine in critical condition.
According to the Korean Broadcasting System (KBS), civil authorities' efforts are still ongoing in Weseong, Andong, Yeongdeok, Yeongyang, and Cheongsong in North Gyeongsang Province, as well as the Sanchong and Hadong areas in South Gyeongsang Province.
It added that the wildfires have destroyed approximately 3480 buildings. The number of destroyed buildings included both homes and factories.
Around 48150 hectares of forests were turned to ashes.
Furthermore, more than 8,000 people have been evacuated.
