File Photo by John Angelillo/UPI June 24 (UPI) -- WWE star Liv Morgan will miss several months of action due to a shoulder injury she suffered last week. WWE commentator Corey Graves made the announcement while discussing Morgan's injury on Raw Monday. Advertisement Morgan is currently one half of the Women's Tag Team Champions alongside her partner Raquel Rodriguez. WWE has not announced what will happen to the titles. Morgan suffered a dislocated shoulder June 16 during her match against Kairi Sane on Raw. The incident happened shortly after the match started when Morgan received a single-leg takedown from Sane. The move was performed properly, however, Morgan yelled in pain and the match was immediately paused. File Photo by Bill Greenblatt/UPI WWE medical personnel came ringside to check on Morgan, who was escorted to the back. The match was canceled, with Sane winning by forfeit. Morgan had recently attacked Hall of Famer Nikki Bella with the segment appearing to set up a match between the two; however, the bout will now most likely not take place.

Tired of too many ads? go ad free now The Night of Champions in Riyadh is a night of some lit matches, and this segment started with a video that went in depth about the friends turned foes,- Ripley and Rodriguez, as the two opponents make their entrance in Kingdom Arena to a deafening crowd. Raquel Rodriguez is bigger but Rhea Ripley is smarter La Mas Ruda by Def Rebel plays in the background as Raquel Rodriguez walks out to the stage and into the ring in Kingdom Arena. She has both the tag team title belts with her, and fans cheer on The Judgement Day member. Soon after, Demon in your dreams by Def Rebel plays as Rhea Ripley makes her entrance. Ripley is on a streak with a 4-1 record against Raquel Rodriguez, and a 31-3 one on one record since 2022. Things start slow, with Raquel Rodriguez initially having the upperhand with her dominant physical stature, but Rhea Ripley makes her mark soon enough. They know each other and their moves well, which is both a pro and a con in this situation. After throwing some punches at each other, Mami gets herself trapped in the ropes, a situation that Rodriguez takes full advantage of. She brings out the first weapon of the night, a stick and attacks Ripley. The former then brings a chair, but Rhea Ripley kicks it to the face of her opponent and finally frees herself. Rhea Ripley wins it with a Riptide Rodriguez brings out a table, after throwing Ripley into a table, but her next step proves faulty when Rhea Ripley smashes her face first into the steel steps and then takes out her belt and gets hitting. Both come back inside the ring, but Ripley keeps hitting with her belt, and she almost gets the win. She goes for a Prism trap, when Roxanne Perez attacks from behind. Mami is enraged and goes to town on her but this also gives Raquel Rodriguez time to gather her strength and attacks Ripley. The match comes to an end after Rhea Ripley gets on the table, smashes Raquel Rodriguez's face in, brings her up to the table, and then ends it with a Riptide. WWE Night Of Champions 2025 Results As Rhea Ripley Topples Raquel Rodriguez
Rhea Ripley continues her long-running feud with The Judgment Day. (Credit: Rich Freeda/WWE via ... More Getty Images) WWE Night of Champions 2025 marked yet another big win for Rhea Ripley. Ripley, arguably the most protected star in WWE's women's division, nearly fell short in her Street Fight against The Judgment Day's Raquel Rodriguez thanks to some interference from Roxanne Perez. But the nearly unbeatable Ripley was able to overcome both Perez and Rodriguez with an avalanche Riptide for the ages. When WWE announced that Ripley vs. Rodriguez would be a Street Fight, that paved the way for a wonky finish that would allow Ripley to take the loss while still looking strong in defeat. Lo and behold, Ripley was still able to avoid a rare loss, instead beating Rodriguez in resounding fashion. WWE Night of Champions 2025 Results for Rhea Ripley vs. Raquel Rodriguez WWE's creative team had a chance to pull off a shocking loss for Ripley at WWE Night of Champions 2025, but Ripley emerged victorious, after all. Rodriguez was unable to capitalize on the outside interference from Perez in her attempt to give Ripley just her third pinfall defeat since May 2022. Instead, Ripley picked up a big win as she looks to regain the momentum she had in early 2025. There were several notable moments in the match, including: Ripley's seemingly never-ending feud with The Judgment Day has gone on for much of the past two years, with Ripley spending most of that time feuding with Liv Morgan. Morgan, however, recently suffered a devastating shoulder injury that has reportedly caused WWE to scrap a number of creative plans, including significant booking directions for the upcoming Evolution II event. WWE Night of Champions 2025 Results: What's Next For Rhea Ripley? Ripley's win at WWE Night of Champions won't necessarily serve as the end of her feud with The Judgment Day. With Morgan injured, Perez is reportedly set to replace Morgan as one half of the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions during Morgan's absence. Connecting the dots here, Perez is clearly trying to take over Morgan's spot as the commander-in-chief of Judgment Day. That's been going on for months now, and there have been both subtle and obvious signs that this isn't sitting well with Morgan. Prior to her injury, Morgan was reportedly set for a major babyface turn as she continues to soar in popularity thanks to her consistently great performances. Even though Ripley beat Rodriguez at Night of Champions 2025, WWE is clearly laying the groundwork for Morgan to return, form an unlikely alliance with her former rival Ripley and go after Perez, Rodriguez and Judgment Day. That's a potentially intriguing storyline that could get Morgan back to her face roots, unite Morgan and Ripley as a powerhouse duo and ultimately lead to the dismantling of The Judgment Day. Given Morgan's injury that will take some time, but Ripley's WWE Night of Champions win was likely just the start to something really big for Ripley, Morgan and everyone involved.

WWE Night Of Champions Full Updated Card With 2 New Matches Added
ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI - MAY 10: Jacob Fatu enters the ring during Backlash at the Enterprise Center on ... More May 10th, 2025 in St. Louis, Missouri. (Photo by Georgiana Dallas/WWE via Getty Images) WWE announced two new matches for the Night of Champions premium live event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on June 28. Rhea Ripley will battle Raquel Rodriguez in a Street Fight that seems bound to have some Judgment Day storyline tie-ins. It also could turn out to be the female version of the underrated WrestleMania 41 classic between Drew McIntyre and Damian Priest. Don't sleep on this match. The ladies will want to put on an excellent show. With Liv Morgan out with an injury, it could be another opportunity for Rodriguez to regain a singles push. Also, the red-hot Karrion Kross is getting a singles match on a PLE for the first time since 2022 when he lost to McIntyre in a steel cage at Crown Jewel. Kross has been quietly building momentum and is finally getting some spotlight to cash in on that charismatic creep-factor aura he's been radiating since WrestleMania season. If WWE is serious about giving him a mid-year bump, this could be the start of something meaningful—especially with a guy like Zayn who knows how to turn a match into a moment. Zayn is also at a point where his character needs a pair of jumper cables. Maybe Kross will give him a jump. With those two matches added, the NOC card is as followed: That's a solid six-match card, but it wouldn't surprise me to see another match added. We lost the men's intercontinental title match that would have seen Dominik Mysterio defending his strap against AJ Styles. Mysterio suffered an injury to his rib cage but is not expected to miss a ton of time. Therefore, it doesn't appear as though he'll be stripped of the title. That said, you have to wonder if WWE will move to add another title match to the card to lean into the championship concept a bit more heavily. Friday's episode of SmackDown is also in Riyadh, so it wouldn't surprise me to see some major happenings on the show. That said, it will be broadcast on delay in the United States. So WWE could play it more as a straight go-home show ahead of NOC. It's a show to watch as WWE has gone big throughout the entire weekend when they've had these kinds of takeover weekends. Currently, there are no tag-team matches on tap. It's a natural fit for one of those to be added to NOC on SmackDown. Something involving Logan Paul has been rumored for weeks, and if it doesn't land here, he might be added to something set for a SummerSlam build. Either way, don't be shocked if SmackDown delivers something unexpected. Stay tuned for coverage of any NOC-related events on SmackDown and of the PLE on Saturday.
