Stutsman picks off Rattler Here's another throw at New Orleans Saints training camp that Spencer Rattler would like back. Both of the Saints' rookie fourth-round draft picks have now intercepted him in practice, with linebacker Danny Stutsman picking off Rattler in the end zone just days after cornerback Quincy Riley snatched an errant pass away in a similar situation. Stutsman and Rattler were college teammates at Oklahoma back in 2021. Now, we shouldn't blow this out of proportion. Training camp is when you want guys taking risks and testing the limits of what they can get away with against NFL defenders. But this was a poor decision no matter what time of year it is. See it for yourself right here. Rattler was leading the first-string offense in 7-on-9 drills against the first-team defense; Stutsman was bumped up the depth chart with Demario Davis absent from practice. The second-year QB tried a throw to wide receiver Cedrick Wilson Jr. running a crossing route through the middle of the end zone, but he was covered. Stutsman read the play as it developed and dropped back to leap the route. Even if the rookie hadn't been there, free safety Justin Reid was closing on Wilson fast, and it would've been a contested-catch situation at best. Again, this was one play. Jake Haener was intercepted at this same practice session, too, when he gambled on a deep shot to wide receiver Chris Tyree (this time, safety Julian Blackmon picked him off). But one of the big concerns with Rattler's rookie-year game tape was his decision making. He threw five interceptions and, according to Pro Football Focus charting, had 14 turnover-worthy plays on his grading sheet. He needs to show better judgment if he's going to fend off Haener and Tyler Shough in this summer's training camp competition. Hopefully this ends up being a learning moment for him.

Tyler Shough, Brandin Cooks organized throwing sessions in Oregon Three of the New Orleans Saints' four quarterbacks joined most of the team's wide receivers at a group workout in Beaverton, Ore. this week -- Nick Underhill reports that Tyler Shough scripted throwing sessions for himself, Jake Haener and Hunter Dekkers. Brandin Cooks organized the whole event with made sure guys like Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed were in attendance. But Spencer Rattler had a good reason for missing out. He had already committed to hosting a youth football camp back in South Carolina and clearly didn't want to leave the campers out to dry. Unlike, say, ex-Pittsburgh Steelers wideout George Pickens, who backed out of a similar commitment of his own after being traded to the Dallas Cowboys. Underhill added that Cooks already worked out with Rattler in Arizona (where Rattler is from) earlier this offseason, and that they're planning to do so again with more of the receivers before camp. Previously, Shough told reporters that he and Cooks were planning workouts in both Oregon and Texas before the Saints regroup for training camp in a few weeks: "We're getting a good group together. It's Brandin Cooks kind of leading that charge. He's such a great influence, just on the whole team, offensively-wise." We'll see if Rattler and the other quarterbacks participate next time in Dallas, but it's reassuring to know he had a valid excuse. Skipping a workout with your teammates because of some beef over a starting job is one thing. A scheduling conflict that puts you on the other side of the country is something else. Keeping your word to a bunch of young athletes and their families is worth taking a rain check to put in some work another day.

When Prince William paused to greet three-year-old Willow during a visit to the Royal Cornwall Show, her family never expected a gift to exchange hands. They were taken aback when Willow reached up with a single Quaver - and even more surprised when the prince popped the savoury snack into his jacket pocket. "I don't think I've ever been offered a Quaver before," the prince said. "I'm going to save this and put it in my pocket for later." Grandmother Sharon Hart, who captured the moment on video, told the BBC: "It was a lovely genuine moment and a memory that we will never forget." Ms Hart, from Luxulyan, from Cornwall, said: "I guess he gets some very expensive presents and this was a first. "Willow always wants to be a princess, so the fact she met a real live prince - she thought that was incredible." The Prince of Wales visited the Royal Cornwall Show on Friday, where he toured the exhibits, spoke to visitors and sampled local produce, including Cornish Rattler cider. Prince William, the Duke of Cornwall, is a patron of the Royal Cornwall Agricultural Association, the charity which organises the three-day show. Willow was attending with her family, including brothers Jude, six, and Noah, eight. Ms Hart, 65, said: "He was leaving the Duchy tent when he passed us. "We were just watching and hoping we'd get a glimpse when there was a commotion in front of us and before we knew it Willow was handing out a Quaver. "She's usually quite tight with her Quavers so it obviously meant a lot to her. "He was a real gent, he thanked her and told her he'd never been given a Quaver as a gift." He pretended to turn his nose up at the zero per cent alcohol option he was initially offered and asked for the proper stuff. At a gin stand, Wills joked he could 'see what today's going to be like' and also teased Sophie. They had been taken into a food and drinks tent, where Sophie was also seen happily chatting to a mother and baby about local produce. They went first to a chutney stand and then to the gin stall as William said: 'We've come from the chutneys straight into booze.' They were shown several gins before each were given one to try. He caught the Duchess going for another sip and joked to her: 'She said, 'You're not allowed to finish it'. You've got to watch her.' Sophie, 60, responded: 'He's learnt from the best.' Wills joked back: 'I've been caught out with whisky a few too many times. Wills then asked about the 'zero' on the bottle, and when told that it meant zero alcohol he put the cup down and said: 'Oh no, no, no. I need original. Someone bring out the big guns.' Sources said the day was a huge success. Sophie has been touted as the Royal Family's 'secret weapon' thanks to her unwavering support for the monarchy and dedication to charities. She was ranked the fourth hardest working royal of last year, having carried out 257 engagements. Her welcome contribution comes at a difficult time for the Royal Family. They were rocked last year when the King and the Princess of Wales were diagnosed with cancer. Charles continues to receive treatment, while Kate announced earlier this year that she was in remission. The King had a blast yesterday as he fired an artillery piece on a visit to the Royal Regiment of Artillery at Larkhill, Wiltshire.
