Drunk man drives car on Gwalior railway platform looking for wife after fight
A man drove his car onto the Railway Platform in Gwalior on Thursday in search of his wife following a domestic 3 am, Sub-Inspector Ravindra Singh Rajawat was patrolling the platform with his team when they spotted a white car entering the platform from the Jhansi end and moving towards the Agra side. The sight of the vehicle shocked passengers waiting at the Rajawat immediately stopped the vehicle and questioned the driver. During interrogation, Nitin revealed that he had fought with his wife, who subsequently left him. Upset and under the influence of alcohol, he drove to the station hoping to find her there.
Railway Police Force officers promptly removed the vehicle and took Nitin into custody under relevant sections of the Railway Act. His car was seized, and a medical examination confirmed that he was intoxicated at the time of the on the matter, Manoj Kumar, Public Relations Officer of Jhansi Railway Division, said, 'The youth was under the influence of alcohol and brought his car onto the platform. The RPF reached the spot immediately and apprehended him. Legal action is being taken under the relevant sections.
