Telugu star Nani joins the sets of The Paradise, directed by Srikanth Odela. The film, produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri, releases on March 26, 2026.
Telugu star Nani has officially joined the sets of his upcoming film The Paradise, directed by Dasara fame Srikanth Odela. The shoot began on June 21, 2025, and after a week of filming childhood portions, Nani stepped in on Saturday to kick off a key 40-day schedule in Hyderabad.
To mark the moment, the makers dropped a striking photo of Nani as his character, Dhagad, on the film's official social media handles. In the image, Nani stands with his foot resting on stacked weight plates, exuding style and grit in green leather shoes, a sleek anklet-watch, and a grounded stance that hints at his character's attitude.
Captioning the image, the makers wrote, 'Dhagad joins the #TheParadise. In cinemas 26-03-2026 (sic)."
Take a look:
This marks Nani's second outing with director Srikanth Odela, following their successful collaboration on Dasara, which was both a critical and commercial hit. Expectations are high for The Paradise. While the full cast and crew are still under wraps, the film is being bankrolled by Sudhakar Cherukuri under the SLV Cinemas banner. Music is being scored by Anirudh Ravichander.
The first glimpse of the film had released in March this year. The promo titled 'Raw Statement' started with a grim atmosphere. It opened with a disclaimer – raw truth, raw language, setting the tone for what's to come. A powerful voiceover took the audience inside the core story: 'In history, everyone has written about parrots and pigeons, but no one has ever written about crows, born of the same species. This is the story of those crows whose stomachs burned with hunger."
The voice background in the background further says, 'The cries of the corpses that have been walking for ages… A tale of a community raised on blood, not milk, from their mother's breast… A spark ignited that filled the entire community with enthusiasm. Crows who had once been belittled now held swords in their hands. This is the story of a rebellious young man who united those crows… The story of that young man becoming a leader." Crows, here, symbolising an anguished community of people.
The Paradise is set for a grand release on March 26, 2026, and will hit theatres in eight languages: Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, English, and Spanish.
