Principal photography for the film is set to begin on July 28 in Hyderabad, with Rashmika Mandanna joining the cast from the very first schedule. Rashmika Mandanna's action thriller ‘Mysaa,' directed by Rawindra Pulle, launched
We had previously reported that actor Rashmika Mandanna is headlining an action thriller titled Mysaa, written and directed by Rawindra Pulle. On Sunday (July 27), the film went on floors with a pooja ceremony in Hyderabad. UnFormula Films, the banner backing the film, shared stills from the ceremony to announce the news. Said to be one of the most physically demanding roles Rashmika has taken on in her career, the film will feature her as a tribal woman. A previously-released first-look poster showed her in a fierce look, blood-smeared on the face, wild hair, and a sword clutched in hand. Notably, the upcoming film will have action choreographed by Andy Long, known for his work on films such as Kalki, Commando and Khuda Haafiz. Shreyaas P Krishna is serving as the cinematographer. The makers are yet to announce the music composer and editor of the film. Mysaa is produced by Ajay and Anil Bayyapureddy. The film will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada.

The makers of director Rawindra Pulle 's eagerly awaited action entertainer, 'Mysaa', featuring actress Rashmika Mandanna in the lead have now welcomed well known cinematographer Shreyaas Krishna onboard the unit of the film. Taking to its X timeline, UnFormula Films, the production house that is producing the film, wrote, "In the world of #MYSAA, every landscape tells a story, every frame breathes life. Welcoming onboard DOP @kshreyaas whose visuals are set to leave a lasting impact." The production house also shared a video clip on Shreyaas Krishna, who is best known for his work on films like Jagame Thandhiram, Sita Ramam and Mahaan, on the occasion. It may be recalled that only a day earlier, the makers had announced that they had roped in international stunt choreographer Andy Long, who has worked on films like Commando, Kung Fu Warrior, Projekt Adler, The Intergalactic Adventures of Max Cloud, Sanak and Kalki, as the stunt master of the film.
