UAE hospitality brand JA Resorts & Hotels has revealed two new appointments with Shanadi Liyanage taking up the role of Cluster Director of Marketing, overseeing JA Ocean View Hotel and The Manor Hotel by JA, while Philip Hardie takes the lead on JA Ocean View Hotel's diverse dining scene as Director of Food & Beverages. Both leaders bring extensive expertise, creativity and fresh perspectives to their roles, aiming to craft moments that truly resonate with guests and carry forward JA Resorts & Hotels' legacy. Now leading the marketing strategy for two of the group's properties, JA Ocean View Hotel and The Manor Hotel by JA, Liyanage brings a creative edge to brand positioning, strategic planning and innovative storytelling within the luxury hospitality space. A passionate lifestyle marketer, she draws inspiration from her personal interests in gastronomy, vibrant mixology, fashion, architecture, music, design and public relations – insights that will prove valuable in continuing to shape JA Ocean View Hotel into a distinctive lifestyle destination in the heart of JBR. Originally from Sri Lanka and having studied Business and Social Entrepreneurship at Antioch University in California, Liyanage has built a career in lifestyle hospitality. Known for her ability to connect effortlessly with people from all walks of life, she has worked with renowned names such as The Dubai EDITION, along with several other five-star lifestyle hospitality concepts. Throughout her career, she's backed numerous impactful campaigns, shaped brand identities, and brought big ideas to life, including collaborations with Netflix's Dubai Bling and Bravo TV's Real Housewives of Dubai. Before joining the team, he spent 10 years with Marriott, overseeing F&B operations across several leading properties in Dubai. His previous roles include Mina Seyahi Resort, where he led 16 venues, including the iconic Barasti Beach Bar. The model and housewife recently took to Instagram to share stunning pictures from her safari adventure in the Kruger National Park. During her stay at the luxurious Tingana Collections Leopard Sands, which overlooks the Sabie River, Ayan expressed her joy in a post and said: 'Living the dream on safari - Big Five sightings, golden sunsets, peaceful drives, and iconic African beauty all around. Truly unforgettable." Her best friend and co-star, Caroline Stanbury, commented, 'Home suits you.' Ayan is no stranger to Africa; she was born in Malaba, Kenya, a small town along the Kenya-Uganda border. Due to her father's struggles with alcoholism, she was primarily raised by her mother and attended school in both Kenya and Uganda. Growing up with five siblings, Ayan has strong family ties in South Africa, where she frequently visits and engages in charity work.

It's common knowledge that both she and housemate Lindsay Hubbard were hoping to join The Real Housewives of New York. Though EP Andy Cohen shut down Lindsay's hopes for an apple last week, could Paige still be in the running? Real Housewives of Dubai alum Chanel Ayan thinks Paige may already have her apple tucked up in bed beside her. Is Chanel spilling company secrets or is she just speculating like the rest of us? Over at the r/BravoRealHousewives community on Reddit, there's chatter going on about whether Paige will go to RHONY. Amid the conversation, Chanel posted, 'Girl you are the only person I watch out for fashion … New York Housewives will be good for you.' Has Chanel been talking to Andy? Or is she just making the assumption that the rumors are true? After all, Ubah Hassan and Chanel are cousins, so maybe the Dubai model has an inside track with RHONY.
