Quadrangle Mayhem: B&B Fans React to the Ridge-Brooke-Taylor-Nick Tangle
On The Bold and the Beautiful, Brooke and Ridge had reunited after their last trip to Italy. But when Carter and Hope staged a coup and took over Forrester Creations, Brooke joined them to surreptitiously get them to relinquish control. However, Ridge didn't allow Brooke time to explain, so he dumped her and went back to Taylor. Ever since, Brooke has been trying to get Ridge to rekindle their romance, to no avail. Now, Nick has returned to Los Angeles and has been wooing Brooke to forget Ridge and come back to him. With all this back and forth, fans have been very vocal about the chaos created by these four. On B&B's official Instagram page, a screenshot of Taylor (Rebecca Budig) and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) was posted with the caption, 'These two 😳🫣.' Over Taylor's pic was a line of dialogue in which she stated, 'I sincerely hope Nick's [Jack Wagner] return to LA works out for you,' while over Brooke was her snarky response, 'I'm sure you do.' One fan commented, 'Taylor is so desperate!' Another viewer wrote, 'I think Brooke is a doormat; she likes to [be] abused by Ridge [Thorsten Kaye] all the time. It looks like a nice hobby for her. She doesn't need Ridge. Let Taylor have him.' Someone else interjected with the comment, 'I'm glad Brooke is free from Ridge. She deserves to be happy with Nick.' We Still Can't Stop Thinking About Ridge's Reaction to Taylor's Proposal on B&B
Taylor popped the question on The Bold and the Beautiful. She did it in an unconventional way, and not because she proposed. She asked the question while they were out to lunch at Il Giardino. It wasn't even a special occasion. Ridge eventually said yes, and we still have his reaction on our minds. Taylor (Rebecca Budig) has Ridge (Thorsten Kaye), and she's been living with him at the Forrester Mansion, but that's still not enough. She wants to feel secure in their relationship with him, especially since he recently had sparks with Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) at the fashion show. B&B's Rebecca Budig and DAYS' Greg Rikaart Join Forces for New Show
General Hospital veterans Steve Burton and Bradford Anderson have blazed the trail for soap actors to do performances outside their shows, as well as podcasts. Their show, That's Awesome, has been going strong since 2018. Now comes word that two soap actors from Days of Our Lives and The Bold and the Beautiful are collaborating to create a fun new podcast that fans will surely love. Budig and Rikaart took to Instagram to jointly announce, 'Love soap operas? 🫧 Go behind-the-scenes with the drama, the stories, the real stars! The #Soapy podcast is coming to you starting July 8th!' A video accompanied the post and Rikaart began, 'Hello everybody, I'm Greg Rikaart, Daytime's favorite chaotic interloper, whether it's Leo Stark on Days of Our Lives or reformed bad boy Kevin Fisher on The Young and the Restless.' Budig jumped in with, 'And I'm Rebecca Budig. Whether you know me as Taylor on The Bold and the Beautiful, Greenlee from All My Children, Hayden from General Hospital, or Michelle from Guiding Light, we are so excited for you to join us on our podcast, Soapy.' The two explained that they're good friends and felt they should interview people they know and don't know, to, 'celebrate our genre coming from a place of love and reverence and respect for the incredibly challenging and hard and fun work that we get to do on daytime soaps.'
