Oregon Ducks take over as frontrunner to sign 4-star offensive tackle

The positive recruiting news continues to pour in for the Oregon Ducks over the past month, with several top-rated players in the nation taking official visits to Eugene and strongly considering commitments to the Ducks. Over the past couple of weeks, 5-star offensive tackle Immanuel Iheanacho has been trending to the Ducks, and this week, it appears that one of the other top OTs in the nation, 4-star Kelvin Obot, is doing the same as well. According to On3's Recruiting Prediction Machine, a pair of predictions have come down for Obot to choose the Ducks, from Nebraska Cornhuskers writers Bryan Munson and Sean Callahan. Nebraska is one of the schools in on Obot, so the writers likely received some intel that the Idaho product is trending towards a college career in the Pacific Northwest. Obot has two pretty different ratings on 247Sports and On3. The former sees him as the No. 10 OT and No. 139 player in the 2026 class, while On3 rates Obot as the No. 3 OT and No. 9 overall player in the class. Regardless of where the recruiting services view Obot, it's clear that the Ducks want him and hope to pair him with Iheanacho in the 2026 class, bookending their future tackle positions down the road. We will see if Oregon can secure his commitment over the likes of Utah, Nebraska, and Michigan, but if they do, it will be a massive victory. Auburn football receives prediction to land four-star Florida linebacker

Adam Balogoun-Ali is trending to Auburn as the month of June winds down. Auburn football needs a spark on the recruiting trail, and could find one in a Florida linebacker. On3's Jeffrey Lee has logged an expert prediction for four-star linebacker Adam Balogoun-Ali to land with Auburn, with a confidence level of 60%. Balogoun-Ali, a native of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, is the No. 1 linebacker in the 2026 class according to ESPN, and is the No. 21 player from Florida. Lee reports that Balogoun-Ali will announce his commitment soon, and that Auburn is the presumed favorite. Lee cites Balogoun-Ali's relationship with defensive coordinator DJ Durkin as the driving force in Auburn's strong standing with him. 'Coach Durkin is great,' Balogoun-Ali said in an interview with On3. 'He is a genuine dude, and someone I listen to and believe in. His main message to me is that I am the main guy that he wants. He has to recruit others because I am taking visits, but if I committed, he tells me he would shut down the recruitment of others.' Lee's prediction increases Auburn's chances of landing Balogoun-Ali to 81.3% according to On3's Recruiting Prediction Machine. Miami is next, followed by Kentucky. Auburn currently ranks No. 83 in 247Sports' 2026 recruiting rankings, with zero linebacker commitments. Auburn football among top schools for top-10 TE JC Anderson

After missing out on Kaiden Prothro and Xavier Tiller, Auburn shifts focus to another elite tight end. Thankful for it all 🖤11 am @ Mt. Zion Highschool ‼️ Auburn is working to rebuild its 2026 class after losing several key pledges. Hugh Freeze and his staff received good news on Tuesday when New Zealand offensive tackle Nikau Hepi announced his commitment to the program shortly after receiving an offer at a recent camp. Auburn's good fortune could continue next week as a four-star tight end lists Auburn as a finalist. JC Anderson, a four-star tight end from Mt. Zion, Illinois, revealed this week that he will announce his commitment on Tuesday, July 1, and that Auburn remains in the running alongside Ole Miss and Illinois. Those three schools were the only ones that Anderson took official visits to, with his visit to Auburn taking place during the weekend of June 6. While there, Anderson shared the content of his conversation with tight ends coach Ben Aigamaua, and what pitch he received from the Tigers with Auburn Undercover. "(Augamaua has) been showing me how they're going to use me from the beginning. He's all about the core values of the family of Auburn and how he's going to not only grow me as a player, but as a man and as a future husband and father too," Anderson said via Auburn Undercover. "That hits deep. He's a great dude and he knows me pretty well and I know him pretty well." Now that Auburn is a finalist, where do they stand with Anderson ahead of next week's big day? 247Sports insider David Johnson has logged the only crystal ball prediction for Anderson, choosing Ole Miss on June 24. On3's Recruiting Prediction Machine also favors Ole Miss, giving Lane Kiffin and the Rebels an 87.5% chance to land him. Illinois follows Ole Miss at 4.8%, with Auburn next at 1.9%. Anderson is viewed as Auburn's last chance to grab a 2026 tight end. Auburn's other targets, Xavier Tiller and Kaiden Prothro, have moved on from Auburn after Tiller committed to Florida State and Prothro left Auburn off his top-three list. The Tigers signed Ryan Ghea and Hollis Davidson during the 2025 cycle, and view those players as the future of the position. Clemson 2026 cornerback target Danny Odem announces commitment date

Clemson is all over The Athletic's Top 25 ACC football players for the 2025 season Clemson football is in the mix for another highly touted defensive back, but it appears the Tigers may be on the outside looking in as four-star cornerback Danny Odem prepares to announce his commitment Monday evening. Odem, a 6-foot-2, 195-pound standout from Orlando (Fla.) The First Academy, is set to choose between Clemson, Nebraska, Ohio State, Oklahoma, and Penn State at 5 p.m. ET. While the Tigers are among the finalists, On3's Recruiting Prediction Machine currently lists Penn State as the leader. Odem took official visits to four of his finalists — Nebraska, Penn State, Oklahoma, and Ohio State — but Clemson is the only one that didn't receive an official visit, despite hosting him on campus for a May 30 unofficial. Odem, who is ranked the No. 247 overall prospect in the 2026 class by 247Sports and No. 8 cornerback by Rivals, was previously committed to North Carolina before reopening his recruitment in December. He holds over 50 scholarship offers, making his decision one of the more closely watched in this cycle. Even if Clemson misses out, the Tigers are still in solid shape in the secondary for 2026. Dabo Swinney's program already holds commitments from four-star safeties Kentavion Anderson and Kaden Gebhardt, along with three-star corners Shavar Young Jr. and Marcell Gipson. Clemson remains in the hunt for other blue-chip defenders like four-star safeties Tylan Wilson and Blake Stewart. The Tigers' 19-member 2026 recruiting class ranks among the top 10 nationally, including a No. 4 ranking by ESPN.
