'As the leading carrier between the United Kingdom and France, the opening of this route between Rennes and Manchester particularly underlines our commitment to actively participating in the development of tourism between France and its international partners.' EasyJet to resume UK-Toulouse link
EasyJet has announced its winter schedule for flights to and from the southern French airport of Toulouse-Blagnac - including a resumption of services to London-Gatwick airport. The Toulouse-Gatwick route was one of a dozen routes scrapped when easyJet closed its Toulouse hub in the spring. However, starting on October 26th, easyJet will run two flights to and from London-Gatwick on Mondays and Fridays. Over the Christmas holidays, this will reach up to six flights per week, air travel website Voyages d'Affaires reported. "We are delighted with the reopening of lines to London-Gatwick and Marrakech, two very popular destinations for the people of Toulouse," Bruno Balerdi, the head of sales, customers and communications at Toulouse airport, told the French press. As of early June, it did not appear possible to book direct flights to London-Gatwick from Toulouse yet. It is not hyet clear whether Toulouse-Gatwick will also be included in the 2026 summer schedule. The budget airline also announced plans to resume services with Marrakech, Morocco this winter, with three flights operated weekly (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday), and it will strengthen its route to Paris-Orly by adding an additional flight. EasyJet closed its base at the Toulouse-Blagnac airport in April 2025, and the airline halved its summer flight schedule, though their press team denied that the two were linked. Advertisement The airline continues to run flights to and from Toulouse, with the base closure primarily focused on staff restructuring and the location where aircraft are housed.
