Bhopal: Chief minister Mohan Yadav on Monday said at an investors' meet in Ludhiana, Punjab, that his interactive session with industrialists, one-on-meeting and dialogues with them on Monday has resulted in investment offers worth Rs 15,606 crore coming Madhya Pradesh way, which is expected to generate over 20,000 employment opportunities. Yadav, who is in Ludhiana on a day's industrial outreach programme, extended a warm invitation to industrialists from Ludhiana and Punjab to set up industries in Madhya Pradesh and also briefed them on the state's resources and investor-friendly industrial policies. Yadav further said that after organising roadshows in Coimbatore and Surat, the Madhya Pradesh government has now connected with investors in Ludhiana. Regional Industry Conclaves have also been held at the divisional level across the state. During the GIS held in Bhopal in February this year, Madhya Pradesh received investment proposals worth Rs. 30.77 lakh crore. He said that Madhya Pradesh is blessed with vast mineral resources, and investing in the state is undoubtedly a profitable proposition. CM Yadav stated that various industrialists have submitted investment proposals worth Rs. 15,606 crore for the state, which are expected to generate approximately 20,275 or more employment opportunities. Earlier, CM Yadav met leading industrialists of Punjab at the Vardhman Industrial Complex in Ludhiana and apprised them of MP's inclusive, liberal, and investment-friendly policies. He said that the MP govt is not only ready to set up industries and increase investment, but if potential is seen in any sector, necessary changes in rules will also be made accordingly. He met with Vardhman Group MD Neeraj Jain, Ralson India Limited Chairman Sanjeev Pahwa, Kangaroo Industries MD Ambrish Jain, TK Steel Rolling Mills Pvt. Ltd MD Lokesh Jain, Rajneesh Industries Pvt. Ltd. Director Rahul Ahuja, Farmparts Company Vice President J S Bhogal, CICU President Upkar Singh Ahuja, Kamal (Sarjavan Hosiery) representatives Sudarshan Jain and Arun Jain, along with industrialists from various sectors. CM Yadav said that there are special opportunities available in the garments and textile sector in MP, and the state govt is making serious efforts to realise this potential. He informed that efforts are underway to revive the Hukumchand Mill of Indore, and settlements worth more than one hundred crore rupees were cleared, giving priority to the interests of workers. The CM said that the govt's commitment toward both investors and workers will remain at every level. He also mentioned that the state govt took similar decisions in the cases of JC Mill in Gwalior and Heera Mill in Ujjain.

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) [India], May 14 (ANI): Ahead of his visit to Bengaluru to participate in an interactive session on 'Investment Opportunities in Madhya Pradesh', Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Wednesday said that his government is constantly working to make Madhya Pradesh prosperous through employment-oriented works for youth, women, poor and farmers. CM Yadav will participate in the 'Invest in MP' session to be held in Bengaluru on Wednesday to propel industrial investment in the state to new heights. He will address an interactive session where he will present the state's industrial strengths and policy commitments to India's leading investors. Speaking to ANI, the CM said, 'Our government is constantly working to make Madhya Pradesh prosperous through employment-oriented works for youth, women, poor and farmers. We are working especially in different areas of Madhya Pradesh related to industry and trade. On the one hand, we are organising 'Krishi Udyog Samagam' in various zones to build a series of agro-based industries. The next agriculture conclave will be held in Narsinghpur on May 26. Earlier, it was held in Mandsaur district.' 'Additionally, I am going to Bangalore. Wagons of Vande Bharat Railway will be made in Bhopal, which will provide employment opportunities to various people. Therefore, we will give land allotment letter to a Bengaluru-based industry for its upcoming unit in Madhya Pradesh. Soon, we will permored the bhoomi pujan of the unit. This will provide employment opportunities to about 23 lakh people,' the Chief Minister said. He further emphasised that over 50 per cent investors of combining Global Investors Summit and all the Regional Industry Conclaves have been allotted land and bhoomi pujan of various industrial units have been performed. 'With this, we are moving towards our objective while enriching our state for which we have declared this year as the year of industry and employment... Under the leadership of PM Modi, our government is continuously working for the development of the state,' he added. According to an official release, after arriving in Bengaluru, CM Yadav will visit the BEML (Bharat Earth Movers Limited) campus and attend the dedication ceremony of the 2100th metro coach. During the event, land allotment documents for BEML's upcoming unit in Madhya Pradesh will also be formally handed over. Furthermore, the Chief Minister will hold one-on-one meetings with key investors from sectors such as IT, electronics, manufacturing, defence, automobiles, tourism, and technology to discuss investment opportunities directly, stated the release. Bharat Earth Movers Limited (BEML) is a premier public sector undertaking under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India. It is leading in manufacturing metro rail coaches, defence equipment, and mining and construction machinery. Its Bengaluru-based manufacturing facility exemplifies modern engineering and indigenous technology, contributing significantly to the vision of an Aatmanirbhar Bharat (self-reliant India), it added.
