UFC 321 announced for Oct. 25 in Abu Dhabi
The UFC's annual pay-per-view event in Abu Dhabi is official. UFC 321 will take place Oct. 25 at Etihad Arena at Yas Island, promotion officials announced Tuesday. No bouts were announced for the event. The UFC also is scheduled for a Fight Night event there July 26. UFC on ABC 9 is headlined by a middleweight matchup between former champion Robert Whittaker and rising contender Reinier de Ridder. In the co-main event, top-ranked featherweight Movsar Evloev welcomes Bellator standout Aaron Pico to the UFC. In the promotion's most recent trip to Abu Dhabi, Ilia Topuria knocked out Max Holloway to retain his featherweight title in the UFC 308 main event. In the co-headliner, Khamzat Chimaev ran through Whittaker for a first-round submission.
