Wishaw bug day to offer hands-on encounters this summer
Reptizoo Rescue & Encounters is hosting a day of discoveries, exhibits, and hands-on activities at Etna Industrial Estate in Wishaw on July 4.
Running from noon to 1.45pm, the event offers visitors a chance to meet and handle exotic bugs, take part in creepy-crawly-themed arts and crafts, and receive goody gift bags.
The experience aims to offer educational insights into the lives of insects for bug enthusiasts and curious minds.

Reptizoo Rescue & Encounters said: "Grab your magnifying glasses, we are trekking through all the countries that you'll find our creepy crawlers.
"From the dusty deserts to the tropical rainforests, you will learn, love, and hold our insects up close."
Tickets for the event can be purchased in advance, and attendees are encouraged to join the organisers on a journey through the intriguing world of insects.
