Coming in 2025 There's a lot to look forward to on the Disney+ and Hulu front for the remainder of this year. Disney shared a sizzle reel featuring never-before-seen footage from new original series and returning fan favorites alike. Here's a synopsis of Season 2 per Disney: 'Season 2 of Percy Jackson and the Olympians is based on the second installment of Disney Hyperion's best-selling book series titled The Sea of Monsters by award-winning author Rick Riordan. In the new season, Percy Jackson returns to Camp Half-Blood one year later to find his world turned upside down. His friendship with Annabeth is changing, he learns he has a cyclops for a brother, Grover has gone missing, and camp is under siege from the forces of Kronos. 'Percy Jackson and the Olympians' has been renewed for Season 3 at Disney+ nearly a year before the series' second season premiere. Disney Branded Television and 20th Television have announced that a third season, based on the Rick Riordan novel 'The Titan's Curse,' is already in the works, with Season 2 of the hit show now set to debut in December 2025. An exact premiere date will be announced in the future. The second season of 'Percy Jackson and the Olympians' stars Walker Scobell, Leah Sava Jeffries, Aryan Simhadri, Charlie Bushnell, Dior Goodjohn and Daniel Diemer. Production recently wrapped in Vancouver. The news is not altogether surprising, given how well Season 1 of 'Percy Jackson' did on Disney+. According to Nielsen streaming data, the show was among the top five most-watched original shows across all of streaming when it debuted in December 2023. Following the hopes of 'Percy Jackson' author and creator Rick Riordan, Season 3 will follow the third book in the series, called 'The Titan's Curse.'
