And Ricky Wilson admits his last visit in 2023 saw him holding hands with an A-list actor while caught up in the moment. 'When Your Song started, our hands happened to brush past each other. I said to Andrew, 'Shall we?'. He nodded and we just held hands. He won't deny it if you ask him.' It wasn't the only strange thing to happen to Ricky at that Glasto, as he recalls: 'I dressed up as Elvis Presley — the full jumpsuit, everything. I was supposed to be doing some songs in Block9 but I got there and didn't bother. 'I was with Leigh Francis and we ended up going to Glastonbury-on-Sea instead and we did the bingo calling twice.' This year, Ricky is heading down with his wife Grace, and the couple have booked into a posh hotel close to the site before his performance. He's already lined up their must-see acts including Pulp, who are playing a secret set on Saturday under the pseudonym Patchwork. 'I've never met Jarvis Cocker but I don't want to because I'd regret anything I said,' says Ricky. 'Then you've got the double header with The Libertines and Rod Stewart on Sunday. Those are Grace's two favourites and I've introduced her to them both.' Ricky's return to the Pyramid Stage comes 20 years after the Kaisers first played there in 2005 following the release of their breakthrough album Employment. 'I didn't really appreciate the magnitude of playing there,' Ricky says. 'We were playing so many shows, I was just taking it in my stride. We'd just released Employment and we'd be playing to 200 people in Italy, then 1,000 people in America. 'Then we got back to the UK and we didn't realise how big it had got here until we arrived at Glastonbury and the crowd was mental. Everyone knew the words to our songs. It blew us away.' Inside the star-studded wedding of Ricky Wilson Of their set this year, Ricky teased: 'We've been on tour with Employment to celebrate the 20th anniversary and at those shows we've been playing it in full. 'We thought about just doing that but we've got too many other songs that would be missed. 'Many people know the songs but we've also got weapons in our arsenal that may be bigger.' I look forward to hearing those shots fired on Saturday. And if you see Elvis wandering around Worthy Farm, it might be worth double checking it's not Ricky back in his disguise. Another musician who's heading there is Lily Allen. That will build hopes she will join Olivia Rodrigo for her headline set on Sunday, having been a surprise guest when Olivia played in 2022. Lily, who once passed out in a field at Glasto in 2015, said on her Miss Me podcast: 'I went to see Charli XCX. "I was drinking non-alcoholic beers and thinking, 'I can do this'. I could get there and go, 'This is too much,' and leave.' Well, with the luxury of a free ticket, yes. GARY: I'M NOTE A SINGER GARY LINEKER wants to play Glastonbury, but he's admitted he's so musically useless he is having to make do with a Q&A this weekend. Asked if he'd swap his FA Cup medal for a slot on the Pyramid Stage, Gary said: 'If I could sing! If I had a voice or I could play an instrument, I'd absolutely adore that. 'I think with musicians, there's no one trying to stop them playing. 'In football, there's always someone trying to. In music, pretty much everyone in the crowd is on your side. That must be amazing, when everyone's singing along, and you're not thinking: I might be s*** today and everyone will hate me. Or maybe they do?!' It doesn't sound like he'd have much luck as a DJ. He added: 'I'd wheel in one of my sons to help me spin, what do you call it, house tech?' Errr I think you mean house or techno, Gary. Ramen lovers shocked as viral video reveals ‘cancer and reproductive harm' warning on packaging

A viral Instagram video has sparked alarm among instant noodle fans after a user pointed out a warning label on ramen packages that reads: 'Cancer and Reproductive Harm.' Instant ramen, a staple for students, busy professionals, and late-night snackers alike, is now under scrutiny after an Instagram user named 'omggotworms' shared a video flipping over multiple packets to reveal the label. The warning, printed in fine text on the back, left many viewers stunned. In the video, the user flips over multiple ramen packages to reveal the caution label, expressing his disbelief. 'Wait… Ramen noodles come with this warning? Cancer + reproductive harm?? Read the labels carefully,' he wrote in the caption. A post shared by Ricky (@omggotworms) The video sparked a flurry of reactions online. While many were stunned, some pointed out they had known about the risks for a while. One user dismissed the warning as misleading, saying, 'This is fake. I checked my Buldak ramen packets, no such warning.' Others offered a more nuanced explanation. 'Fun fact, my wrench came with that same warning. It's because they don't want to waste money in California to test their products for reproductive harm or cancer damage, so they just slap that label on,' one comment read, referring to California's Proposition 65, which requires warnings on products that contain certain chemicals—even in trace amounts. Some users weren't surprised at all. 'It's been there since day one. People barely read the nutritional facts. You expect them to read the small print?!' one person commented. Another added, 'California puts that warning on literally everything.' Others pointed out that sometimes it's not even the food, but the packaging that's the problem. 'A lot of times, the packaging itself is toxic. The heat-printed wrappers leach chemicals into your skin at levels above the minimum decided safe exposure amount,' one user wrote. The United States Department of Agriculture notes that a typical 81-gram serving of ramen contains 14 grams of total fat and around 6.5 grams of saturated fat – that's about a third of the recommended daily intake.

Ramen Noodles Packet Comes With Cancer Warning, Viral Video Leaves Internet Stunned

Ramen noodles are a quick and easy filling snack, especially for those who are living alone or rushing for work. But, now a video going viral on social media has left ramen noodle fans in disbelief and has made them rethink their favourite go-to snack. The clip shows a warning label printed on the back of a ramen noodle packet that reads, "Warning: Cancer and Reproductive Harm". Sharing the video on Instagram, the user who goes by 'omggotworms' on the social media platform expressed shock over the warning label. In the video, he flips over several ramen packets to reveal the tiny caution notice printed in small font. "Wait... Ramen noodles come with this warning? Cancer + reproductive harm?? Read the labels carefully," the Instagrammer wrote in the caption of the post. Take a look below: View this post on Instagram A post shared by Ricky (@omggotworms) The video quickly caught the attention of several social media users, leaving them shocked and confused. While some users called the video an eye-opener, others, however, said that they were aware of the potential health risks linked to the noodles and similar processed foods. "Nearly everything we eat can do damage if we eat it too much, every now and then shouldn't be a problem. Iv had it a few times, maybe 6 times a yr. I would eat it more but it's too spicy," wrote one user. "It doesn't even feel healthy when you eat it. Why eat those instead of spaghetti?" asked another. "A lot of times the packaging itself is toxic. The heat-printed wrappers leach chemicals into your skin at levels above the minimum decided safe exposure amount. That requires them to apply the cancer/hormone disruptor warning," explained a third user. "Having spicy food too frequently can raise the chances of developing cancer. Reducing the frequency to every 4 months is an acceptable way to reduce the risk," said another. "Why the f are these openly sold? Why is it written so small," wrote one user.
