Fantasy Premier League 25/26: Complete Manchester City player prices revealed
Ahead of the brand new 2025/26 campaign, Fantasy Premier League have now unveiled their prices for all of Pep Guardiola's Manchester City players. With Fantasy Premier League managers now in the early stages of squad building ahead of Gameweek 1 in the English top-flight, Manchester City's player pricing will once again catch the attention of users. Pep Guardiola's team is consistently among the most stacked in terms of attacking potential and clean sheet returns, but the challenge as ever lies in navigating rotation and price tags, especially with new signings and emerging academy stars thrown into the mix. Erling Haaland once again leads the pack as the most expensive player in the City squad at £14.0M, reflecting his dominance in front of goal over the past three seasons returning eye-watering levels of points for players. At the back, there's a blend of value and premium pricing, particularly with Josko Gvardiol and new signing Rayan Aït-Nouri both at £6.0M, while Rico Lewis and Vitor Reis offer cheaper options at £5.0M if they can secure regular game time. Manchester City's additional work on defensive structure after last season's frailties under Pep Guardiola could make their defenders attractive investments, though the manager's notorious rotation policy still looms large in every fantasy decision. Now, with Manchester City set to return to pre-season training in the coming days, Fantasy Premier League have released their entire price list for Pep Guardiola's squad and all those wanting to add some of the Etihad Stadium's stars into their FPL line-ups. Goalkeepers Ederson, £5.5M Stefan Ortega, £5.0M Marcus Bettinelli, £4.0M Defenders Josko Gvardiol, £6.0M Rayan Ait-Nouri, £6.0M Ruben Dias, £5.5M Matheus Nunes, £5.5M Rico Lewis, £5.0M Manuel Akanji, £5.5M Nico O'Reilly, £5.0M John Stones, £5.5M Nathan Ake, £5.5M Abdukodir Khusanov, £5.5M Vitor Reis, £5.0M Midfielders Bernardo Silva, £6.5M Mateo Kovacic, £6.0M Savinho, £7.0M Phil Foden, £8.0M Ilkay Gundogan, £6.5M Jeremy Doku, £6.5M Omar Marmoush, £8.5M Jack Grealish, £6.5M Nico Gonzalez, £6.0M James McAtee, £5.5M Kalvin Phillips, £5.0M Rodri, £6.5M Oscar Bobb, £5.5M Claudio Echeverri, £5.5M Rayan Cherki, £6.5M Sverre Nypan, £5.0M Tijjani Reijnders, £5.5M Forwards Erling Haaland, £14.0M Manchester City's midfield is likely to be where most FPL managers will find themselves deliberating, with Phil Foden's £8.0M tag making him a tempting option if he manages to find the form on show in 2023/24. Rayan Cherki, Jeremy Doku, and Omar Marmoush could all become key picks depending on roles under Guardiola, while Claudio Echeverri and Oscar Bobb – priced modestly at £5.5M – may offer rotational value if injury or fixture congestion opens up opportunities. Meanwhile, players will also be watching Manchester City's defence closely during pre-season, particularly to assess whether £5.0M options like Vitor Reis or Rico Lewis could offer budget-friendly routes into a back-line that has previously posted high clean sheet numbers. Likewise, the battle between Ederson and Stefan Ortega in goal will be watched with interest given ongoing transfer speculation and their tight price proximity, with the former attracting links to Turkish giants Galatasaray.

A place in the quarter-finals of the Club World Cup is on the line in Orlando, Florida as Manchester City take on Al-Hilal. The Premier League side clearly go in as hot favourites against the Saudi Pro League outfit, but have proved how competitive they can be so far. Their first match of the tournament ended in a 1-1 draw with Real Madrid, while they also held RB Salzburg to a goalless stalemate. Victory over Mexican team Pachuca in their last group stage contest saw Al-Hilal progress to the knockouts, while Salzburg missed out. That was impressive, but City were also in good nick in the groups, hammering Wydad and Al Ain before doing the same to Juventus. And maybe in November, December, January, ask me, Pep. 'I may say: 'So listen, we are a disaster. We are exhausted. The World Cup destroyed us.' I don't know, but it's the first time in our life that that's happened. So we will see. How to watch Man City vs Juventus: TV channel, stream, team news and odds
Manchester City and Juventus meet in the Club World Cup on Thursday in a match that will decide which team tops Group G and which will finish runner-up. Both teams have made light work of Wydad AC and Al Ain so far, with Juventus currently topping the group having scored nine goals and conceded one, while City have scored eight and are yet to concede. That means a draw will be enough for the Italians to finish top of the group, while the English side must win to leapfrog them. It is yet to be decided who the winners and runners-up will face in the last 16, but it will be out of Group H teams Real Madrid, RB Salzburg and Al Hilal. Real Madrid are favourites to top that group, so finishing top of Group G will probably be ideal for Juve and City. We cannot change it, right. I'm making the selection thinking about the second half because in these conditions we can't play at our rhythm. But all the teams have to handle it, so it is what it is. 'For the next World Cup, people will know it already, but we have to be ready to suffer. My advice to people is to bring water, hats and towels.' On facing City, Juve boss Igor Tudor said: 'We worked on all aspects to get to the match in the best possible way: we evaluated who to play, given that we played two demanding matches and it is important to understand who can play for the whole match and who can come on at their best. 'It is a beautiful match to play, for those who played more it was three days of recovery, the others pushed. There is a great desire to do well, there is great energy; already by going through to the next round we have achieved the first mini-objective and this makes us feel good. We want to win, you cannot play to draw. Tomorrow we take to the field to win, you do not prepare matches to draw.' Pep Guardiola hits out at FIFA over Rico Lewis' Club World Cup ban extension
Rico Lewis' extended ban at the Club World Cup from FIFA has now seen Pep Guardiola passionately react on the matter to reporters. The England international became the first Manchester City player to be dismissed for an on-field incident during the FIFA Club World Cup and the 2025/26 season, after his tournament got off to a difficult start on matchday one. Advertisement With victory appearing more likely as City held a 2-0 advantage over Wydad AC in Philadelphia, a clean challenge from Rico Lewis saw the right-back's follow through catch the face of Samuel Obeng leading to a straight red card from referee Ramon Abatti. Manchester City officials opted not to appeal against the initial one-match ban that was issued to the versatile defender, and as such Lewis would sit out of the 6-0 win over Al Ain on matchday two, with Matheus Nunes taking on his role for the contest. However, in the days that followed, it emerged that the 20-year-old had been given a further two-match ban by FIFA after a disciplinary committee ruled his tackle on Samuel Obeng as 'serious foul play'. An appeal from Manchester City on that particular decision to extend Lewis' suspension would fail, and subsequently the star Academy graduate would be forced to miss out on the matchday three group stage clash with Juventus and the club's last-16 match next week. Advertisement Speaking during his press conference ahead of the second of Rico Lewis' three-match ban, Pep Guardiola was not only keen to defend his right-back's attitude and approach towards the game, but also hit out at FIFA for 'wanting to show how serious they are'. 'I didn't have the honour to talk with [Pierluigi] Collina, on the reason why it's two or three [games banned]. I'm pretty sure referees don't know who is Rico [Lewis]. So, he's the sweetest, and the kindest, and sometimes as a defender you have to say, 'You have to be more aggressive',' Guardiola said. 'It's an action like it never has any intention, I know the image can pretend to be, but both [feet] are on the floor, and unfortunately touched a little bit the lips,' he added. 'I know it can be apparently tough. But it's Rico Lewis, right?' Guardiola continued, 'So I can imagine with another type of player, but it is what it is. If they make [it] three games, he has more time to rest, he can be more time on the beach, Rico, at home and rest, be with his girlfriend, and he will be back, hopefully, if we go through in the next games or during the season. Advertisement 'But I know Rico, and never, never, never is his intention to hurt anyone and the history of him is there. But, if FIFA want to show how serious they are, OK! Accept the three games, and move forward.' Manchester City will likely continue with Matheus Nunes as their right-back against Juventus on Thursday night, although it remains to be seen whether the club invests in the position during the weeks that remain of the ongoing summer market. Tino Livramento is believed to be Hugo Viana's number one target for the role, although there is a firm intention from the side of Newcastle United to retain their defender, amid his starring role for England's Under-21 en route to the final of the European Championship.

He can be with his girlfriend then will hopefully be back if we go through in the next games and during the season."I know Rico and it's never his intention to hurt anyone.
