First Literacy of Boston awards nearly $40k in grants to boost adult basic education across Massachusetts

Stoughton 13-year-old steals car leads police on chase down I-93, before crashing
Rivera was arraigned Monday in Stoughton District Court. He pleaded not guilty to the charges, court records show. His next court date is July 9. The two minors will be arraigned in Dedham Juvenile Court, police said. Police allege the teens stole the Hyundai from Manor Drive in Stoughton, breaking a window to get inside and jump-starting it without keys. Advertisement The stolen vehicle was spotted traveling with its lights off, crossing over double lines, alongside two other vehicles around 1:30 a.m., police said. The officer attempted to stop the vehicles, which kept going into Canton. The officer intended to stop the pursuit at the town line, but received permission to continue, Stoughton police said. The three vehicles turned onto I-93 north, before the Elantra exited near the Ponkapoag Trail, where it crashed, police said. Plymouth cafeteria director charged with ordering lobster, stealing kitchen equipment equipment, for use at his Cape Cod snack shack

This includes under-counter refrigerators and freezers, a refrigerated sandwich table, convection oven, microwave, bagel warmer, coffee maker and two fry pans. Surveillance footage from a Saturday allegedly shows him loading one of those under-counter refrigerators onto a town-owned truck and later returning in his personal pickup to transport a second unit. Additional video from the State Police Fusion Center then shows his pickup crossing the Sagamore Bridge with the stolen refrigerator secured in its bed, bound for Cape Cod, the statement said. Danvers man sentenced to 6 years in federal prison for laundering more than $1 million via unlicensed Bitcoin exchange service
From September 2017 through October 2020, Nguyen operated National Vending, LLC, charging customers a fee to convert cash into Bitcoin, according to the statement.
