Man arrested after deadly road rage shooting in Menifee
One person is in custody after a road rage incident turned into a deadly shooting in Menifee on Monday night. Police were called to the intersection of Scott Road and Haun Road at around 9 p.m. after of gunshots in the area, according to the Menifee Police Department. It was there that they learned of the shooting, which stemmed from an apparent road rage incident that started on Bundy Canyon Road near northbound lanes of the I-15 Freeway in Murrieta. The confrontation continued until the intersection, where 47-year-old Menifee resident Ryan Travis Dabe allegedly opened fire at the other vehicle and struck the 36-year-old man behind the wheel. The victim, who still hasn't been identified, was declared dead at the scene by Riverside County Fire Department paramedics. Police said that Dabe immediately pulled over following the shooting and waited for officers, who took him into custody without further incident. He was questioned for several hours before being booked on suspicion of murder and remains behind bars in lieu of $1 million bail. Mandalay Fire: Blaze in Riverside grows to 83 acres, but crews halt progress

Firefighters battled a brush fire Sunday that burned about 83 acres in Riverside before crews got it under control, according to a fire-monitoring website. The fire was reported around 2 p.m. Sunday in the area west of Tyler Street and Mandalay Court, according to the city of Riverside Fire Department. The fourth-alarm fire prompted an immediate evacuation order for the area near Gaylord Street, Eureka Drive and Mandalay Court due to the fire threatening nearby structures and life, according to the Riverside County Fire Department, which was assisting. At 4:40 p.m., the fire-monitoring service Watch Duty reported that commanders believed crews had stopped the forward progress of the fire, although they were still working to fully surround and contain it. The Riverside Fire Department said the effort to control the blaze "remained active" after 6 p.m. At least two other wildfires were burning in the area on Sunday. The Wolf Fire near Banning had grown to over 1,100 acres by Sunday evening, according to Cal Fire. Evacuation orders were issued in parts of Riverside County as firefighters continued to battle the 100-acre Mindy Fire in Aguanga on Sunday. Emergency evacuations ordered for Mandalay Fire raging in Riverside County
A rapidly spreading four-alarm wildfire in Riverside County has prompted emergency evacuations with crews reporting an immediate threat to life and property in the fire's path. Crews with the Riverside County Fire Department responded to reports of the Mandalay Fire, which ignited near the intersection of Tyler Street and Mandalay Court and quickly spread to around 10 acres, just before 2 p.m. Sunday. By 3:30 p.m., the blaze had reportedly spread to more than 60 acres. According to the fire tracking website Watch Duty, the fire was upgraded from three-alarm to four, with requests for law enforcement to help with evacuations and additional fire engines, crews and firefighting aircraft. Authorities ordered mandatory evacuations for residents along Mandalay Court, Eureka Drive and Gaylord Street. A map of the evacuation zone can be found here. A care and reception center has been established at La Sierra Sr. Community Center at 5215 La Sierra Avenue.
