In this new role, Burak will oversee the front office, concierge and guest relations. He will lead and train the team to ensure exceptional service standards, manage departmental budgets, monitor key performance metrics, and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency. Burak has been with Rixos Bab Al Bahr since 2022. He previously served as Quality and Sustainability Manager, where he played a pivotal role in promoting environmental awareness and leading the hotel's sustainability initiatives. His efforts have ensured compliance with international certifications such as GSTC, EarthCheck, and multiple ISO standards, including quality, food safety, environmental management, and customer satisfaction. Among his key achievements, the resort became the first Autism Certified Centre in Ras Al Khaimah and the first to earn Blue Flag certification on Marjan Island—milestones that reflect his dedication to inclusivity and environmental stewardship. Moreover, he has successfully managed internal audits, enhanced operational hygiene practices, and conducted staff training programs in sustainability and quality systems. Additionally, he has contributed to guest satisfaction through continuous monitoring, reporting, and cross-departmental collaboration. Burak Ak is a seasoned hospitality professional with over 13 years of industry experience and more than 20 certifications in health, safety, and sustainability.
