(Video) Rizman Ruzaini Makes Cannes Film Festival Debut With Stunning Pink Ensemble
Malaysia's very own Rizman Ruzaini continues to make a name for itself in the global market! The homegrown fashion label recently made a jaw-dropping appearance at the Cannes Film Festival with Norwegian-Somali model Rawdah Mohamed! Last weekend, Rawdah walked the red carpet at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival for the movie 'Die, My Love', starring Jennifer Lawrence and Robert Pattinson. The model turned heads with her pink ensemble, complete with a matching hijab. Rawdah kept the jewellery simple, sporting a necklace from the French luxury jewellery house Boucheron. Netizens and fashion magazines praised the look for being modern and modest, with many praising the hijab. As it turns out, the dress was a custom design by Malaysian designer duo Rizman Ruzaini. Through its Instagram account, the fashion house described the custom look, 'A sculptural study in silhouette and silk, the rose pink ensemble featured a svelte buttoned-back bodice flowing into a dramatic flared skirt, masterfully gathered at the hips for graceful movement and form.' Meanwhile, the matching heels were from the Indonesian brand Buttonscarves. Many Malaysians have reacted to Maison Rizman Ruzaini's Cannes debut, congratulating the designers on their recent milestone. Stars like Malaysian actress Siti Saleha and Indonesian actress Raline Shah also send their praises and love to the homegrown fashion label. Rawdah also loved the custom piece, writing on her Instagram, 'What an honour to wear custom Rizman Ruzaini. Thank you for making me feel one of a kind.' The model also shared more photos of herself in the dress, taken at her hotel before walking down the Cannes red carpet. Renowned fashion and lifestyle magazine Marie Claire also highlighted Rawdah's look in an Instagram video for their Marie Claire Arabia edition. Fans also praised the 34-year-old and her dress, saying she looked like a princess and a ballerina in the pink custom piece. Local Fashion Label Rizman Ruzaini To Open First Boutique In Dubai & Indonesia
Malaysian fashion label Rizman Ruzaini is going global! The local designer duo recently shared new plans for their fashion brand, which includes opening their first boutiques in Dubai and Indonesia later this year! The dynamic duo, composed of Rizman Nordin and Ruzaini Jamil, recently held their Raya Open House, where some of Malaysia's biggest stars were in attendance. The guest lists included the likes of singers Mimifly, Hael Husaini, Nadeera, and Diana Danielle. During the event, the two designers spoke about their brand, revealing that Rizman Ruzaini is preparing to open their first international boutiques in Dubai and Indonesia later this year. Rizman explained that the two have always dreamt of going global with their brand, saying, 'Whenever there is a chance to put our brand on the global stage, we (Rizman Ruzaini) make sure to carry the Malaysia name along.'. He added that the designer duo have been dressing local celebrities for years, so they have a bigger mission to see more international celebrities donning the brand. As part of their goal to go global, Rizman Ruzaini will open their first boutiques in Dubai and Indonesia. There is no exact opening date yet, but the designers said the boutique will open its doors this year. Dubai and Indonesia are strategic locations in the international fashion industry. The designers also said they have many fans from the Middle East, so the new boutique will help meet the demand there. Rizman Ruzaini is also no stranger to the Dubai fashion world, having launched two collections at Dubai Fashion Week. Their Spring/Summer 2024 collection runway show in 2023 even featured legendary supermodel Naomi Campbell. A few months after the show, the model would wear another custom Rizman Ruzaini piece at the Red Sea Film Festival 2023 in Jeddah. Another international star who has worn the Rizman Ruzaini label is Lady Gaga. The pop star stunned in her custom piece at her Las Vegas show in 2024.
