Portugal manager Roberto Martinez pays tribute to Diogo Jota at funeral
Portugal manager Robert Martinez paid emotional tribute to Diogo Jota and his brother Andre Silva at their funeral on Saturday morning (5 July), saying the pair 'will be with us forever'. Martinez was among a host of players and managers who joined family and friends in bidding a final farewell to Jota and Silva, who were killed in a road accident on Tuesday, at a service in their home town of Gondomar. 'Today was a day that we showed we are a very, very large, but close family. We are Portugal, and it was essential for us, Andre Silva and Diogo Jota that we [were] together,' Martinez told reporters.
