Willie Robertson's wild Bigfoot hunt ends with unexpected twist in 'Duck Dynasty' revival
In the third episode of "Duck Dynasty: The Revival," the Robertson family were exposed to their own fears of the unknown. The episode kicked off with Willie Robertson and "Duck Dynasty" OG Silas Merritt "Si" Robertson continuing their search for Bigfoot. Willie called in help from "Blurry Creatures" podcast hosts, Luke and Nathan, who specialize in chasing "down answers for the weird questions and enigmatic creatures that inhabit the fringes between reality, myth, and imagination," according to their podcast's description. Si was certain that he had seen Bigfoot as recently as a month before the episode was filmed. "I saw a presence behind me," he told the group before claiming that Bigfoot was between 8–10 feet tall with bright-colored eyes. Willie had been hesitant to believe Si in his Bigfoot sighting but admitted that finding the creature would be lucrative, so he gave hunting him down a fair shot. Elsewhere in the Robertson family, Willie's daughter, Bella, was doing some hunting of her own. Over at Duck Commander, there was a "snack thief" that she was adamant about catching. Bella set up a trap in the break room to find the thief, but was unlucky until her father ratted himself out. She laid out a bunch of beef jerky bags in the break room and Willie was seen later in the episode snacking on them. Willie's other daughter, Sadie, discovered that she was pregnant during the episode, right before traveling to Texas A&M University to lead a Breakaway bible study. Breakaway is a "non-denominational bible study located on the campus," according to its website. Her husband, Christian, was surprised by the news. The couple already share two young daughters, Honey and Haven. They announced the pregnancy on Instagram in February, writing, "Our hearts are so full. Another little love joining the Huff family." At the end of the episode, Willie planned a camping trip with his sons, John Luke and Will. One of his grandsons also made an appearance. Willie shared that he learned how to lure in Bigfoot. The group needed a campfire, flute music, a child for "bait" and singing. So, the group did just that. "There's always a lot to fear with the unknown, whether that's a monster in the woods, a snack thief or even a new phase in life, but having a close-knit family to face all the unknowns of life makes everything a little less scary." Goodwin of Duck Commander dressed up in a Bigfoot suit and ran near the group's campfire to spook Willie, and it worked. At the end of the episode, he admitted that he didn't think the group was going to find Bigfoot, so a lucrative documentary that Si pitched was out the window. But now that he's "officially semi-retired," he tossed around the idea that he may create a fictional Bigfoot movie. The final scene of the episode was a Robertson family dinner. At this point, Sadie had decided to keep her pregnancy a secret, with only her husband and mom, Korie Robertson, knowing. "There's always a lot to fear with the unknown, whether that's a monster in the woods, a snack thief or even a new phase in life, but having a close-knit family to face all the unknowns of life makes everything a little less scary. The memories we make are worth their weight in gold, way more than Big Foot merchandise," Willie said to close out the episode. The A&E show aired its first episode on June 1, showing Willie, Korie and their children and grandchildren transitioning into the new "Duck Dynasty" chapter. Willie is currently the CEO of the Duck Commander hunting company, which Phil Robertson founded in 1972 and was a vital part of the original "Duck Dynasty" series. The television show premiered 40 years later, in 2012, and ended in 2017. The new series debuted shortly after the family announced Phil's death. Phil had been dealing with severe health problems leading up to his passing in May. The Robertson family will also appear in FOX Nation's Duck Family Treasure series that premiered on Sunday, June 15th.

Just weeks after the death of Duck Dynasty star Phil Robertson, his son, Willie Robertson, has shared a bit of a family update. In an interview with USA Today that was published on June 5, Willie shared that his mom, Kay Robertson, isn't doing well. "Kay is not in the best of health. We're trying to help her out as much as we can," he told the outlet. "Some of it is she is just depressed. She lost her partner of 60 years," he added. Miss Kay, 77, is a part of the Duck Dynasty reboot, but didn't film much due to her ongoing health issues. "Mom was on the show at the beginning so we have some sweet moments with her," Willie told USA Today. Miss Kay did not attend the premiere of the reboot, which was held in Monroe, Louisiana, on June 1. It's been a challenging few months for the Robertson family. Aside from Phil's Alzheimer's diagnosis and subsequent death, Miss Kay wound up in the hospital for more than a week after a nasty fall. During an April episode of the Robertson family's podcast, Jase Robertson revealed that his mom had a cut that got infected after the aforementioned fall. "She has to have pretty much 24/7 professional healthcare," he said at the time. ‘Duck Dynasty' star Miss Kay's health declines following husband Phil Robertson's death
Miss Kay Robertson, the beloved matriarch of the "Duck Dynasty" clan, is facing a difficult chapter marked by grief and declining health. "Kay is not in the best of health," her son Willie told USA TODAY Network. "We're trying to help her out as much as we can." The 77-year-old was noticeably absent from the "Duck Dynasty: The Revival" premiere party on June 1, hosted in Monroe, Louisiana. The news of Robertson's declining health comes after she endured the tragic loss of her husband. Phil Robertson died on May 25 after suffering from Alzheimer's. He was 79. "Some of it is, she is just depressed," Willie remarked. "She lost her partner of 60 years." Her son continued to share that Kay made appearances in early episodes of the "Duck Dynasty" reboot. However, her declining health prevented her from filming and being featured in later episodes. Kay's health issues first came to light in April, when her son Jase Robertson shared on the podcast "Unashamed with the Robertson Family" that she had suffered a fall and developed an infection that required hospitalization. Jase said, "We were kind of dealing with the fact that maybe this is it." Reps for the Robertsons did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment. "My mom is not doing great physically," Jase said on the family podcast back in April. "She has to have pretty much 24/7 professional healthcare." Phil, at the time, said that their children's presence was helping her. "But my dad [said] it's like, 'You're helping her morale.' She's helping his morale." While their mother spent time in a health facility, Jase explained that family and friends had been visiting, with Kay's visitors dubbed "Kay's Kingdom." Last month, Willie remembered his late father through faith and their final moments together. Willie, who starred in the hit A&E reality series for five years, from 2012 to 2017, took to social media to mourn the loss of his legendary father following his death. "I remember Phil's many prayers on Memorial Day and all the times with my dad. I don't have enough words to tell of all of it, perhaps it will take months or years of remembering," he wrote in part on Instagram. "Most importantly, he taught me the value of sharing my faith with others. He was the Real Deal, the same on Sundays as Fridays. Most of our conversations were not about hunting or business, but about sharing the Gospel." Phil, famous for launching the Duck Commander hunting company that became the focus of his A&E show, was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease in December 2024. His son concluded his heartfelt tribute and wrote, "Phil, I love you and already miss you. Thank you for raising me the right way and teaching me the most important lesson to prepare me for the day you passed on. Not sure how people deal with loss without the Lord. We may be wrong about all this….but I doubt it! Sleep well Dad, can't wait to see you." A&E announced earlier this year that the hit show would be revived eight years after it aired its final episode. "Duck Dynasty: The Revival" focuses on Willie; his wife; their adult children, John Luke, Sadie, Will, Bella and Rebecca; and their grandchildren, according to a synopsis. The original "Duck Dynasty" aired for 11 seasons from 2012-17. Per A&E, the show peaked at 11.8 million viewers.

'Duck Dynasty' returns with Willie Robertson hunting for successor
The Robertson family is back with their revival of "Duck Dynasty." The A&E show aired its first episode on June 1, showing Willie Robertson, his wife Korie Robertson, and their children and grandchildren transitioning into the new "Duck Dynasty" chapter. Willie is currently the CEO of the Duck Commander hunting company, which Phil Robertson founded in 1972 and was a vital part of the original "Duck Dynasty" series. The television show premiered 40 years later, in 2012, before it ended in 2017. The first episode kicked off in West Monroe, Louisiana, with Willie, Silas Merritt "Si" Robertson and Jase Robertson doing what they do best – duck hunting. Si gave Willie a hard time for not hunting as much and not going into the Duck Commander headquarters for over a year, which prompted him to pay a visit and reevaluate his role in the company. Willie announced that he is "semi-retiring" as CEO of Duck Commander and is looking for someone to take his place. He took his children, John Luke, Bella, Sadie and Will, duck hunting to find out who would be the best person to replace him. His youngest son, Rowdy, was away at college and his daughter, Rebecca, was pregnant and couldn't make the hunting trip. On the trip, Sadie shared that her father never took them duck hunting when they were kids, which Willie blames on technology and cellphones as the reason they weren't outdoors in their youth. The episode concluded with a big family dinner, where everyone met the new addition to the family, Rebecca's son. She gave birth to her third child, Xander, in November. On May 25, Korie Robertson took to social media to share Phil's passing after months of health concerns. "We celebrate today that our father, husband, and grandfather, Phil Robertson, is now with the Lord." Korie Robertson added that the family will have a private service but will share details "about a public celebration of his life." "Thank you for the love and prayers of so many whose lives have been impacted by his life saved by grace, his bold faith, and by his desire to tell everyone who would listen the Good News of Jesus," she added. "We are grateful for his life on earth and will continue the legacy of love for God and love for others until we see him again." During a December episode of "Unashamed with the Robertson Family," Robertson's diagnosis with Alzheimer's disease was announced. Willie later spoke with Fox News Digital, saying that Phil was "battling a lot of different things right now." "He's got a blood disorder, and then he's got the mental issues that could be early [on-set] Alzheimer's… and probably some ministrokes because of his blood," Willie explained. "And so, it could be some stroke stuff happening, that has happened. So, we're still checking on all that." "But then he also has a back issue. He's fractured his back and that's where the pain's at. So, he's kind of battling many different things at the same time." "Duck Dynasty: The Revival" airs Sundays on A&E network at 9/8c.

The hit reality TV show, "Duck Dynasty," first aired on March 21, 2012 on A&E Network. The show followed the lives of the Robertson family members as they navigated life and their family business, Duck Commander, in West Monroe, Louisiana. The show also showcased their duck hunting talents and practices, as well as their strong family values.
